So I did end up getting tickets for the Columbus PS E3 event. I'll be dragging a friend along if anyone in and around the Columbus area ends up going to the show.

http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/20...ortscenter-spongebob-squarepants-more/267853/

Attack on Titan - 1,043,000 (0.4 18-49)
DBZ - 1,108,000 (0.5 18-49)
Shippuden - 833,000 (0.4 18-49)
Blue Exorcist - 745,000 (0.4 18-49, ranked higher than Shippuden)

these are the ratings so far. i have a bad feeling about One Piece

Wow...I was dead wrong about DBZ and AoT. Surprised that Cooler still got 1.1mil on Saturday and AoT was a little over 1mil. That DBZ pull.

Whatever. Damn you anime fans. First you whine about AoT and then you don't actually want it. WHAT DO YOU WANT!?!?!?

See this:

I'm interested in seeing the ratings for Cooler's Revenge today even though it'll likely be around the 1M mark. Keep in mind that ratings dip hard during Memorial Day weekend; Game of Thrones didn't air a new episode on Sunday to avoid the drop.

I'm in the area, won't be going to the show but would be down to grab a beer/food beforehand if you'd like.

.

In the area as well, on the fence might attend but idk if I could sit there for the whole thing. It feels more disconnected then it would at home.

I might do to meet a few gaffers

Yeah the movie theaters would need wifi. No E3 is complete without live internet reactions and postings

Also nice title change heh.

If those early numbers are correct, I think it's impressive toonami was able to retain over 1M viewers until 1AM. Take a look at the ratings from Memorial Day weekend last year:

11:30 The Boondocks 1,166,000
12:00 Bleach 998,000
12:30 Naruto 946,000
1:00 One Piece 757,000
1:30 Soul Eater 851,000
2:00 IGPX 653,000
2:30 Eureka 7 621,000
3:00 Thundercats 684,000
3:30 Sym-Bionic Titan 744,000
4:00 Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood 665,000
4:30 Cowboy Bebop 644,000
5:00 Inuyasha 616,000
5:30 Inuyasha 586,000

I'd be down. I have the day off and would just need to grab my friend before coming up that way. Dinner/beer would be fantastic.

Well, I'll be there!
I'm not that impressive.
I know in the Gaming thread there are a few more people from Ohio going to the show.

is half of ToonamiGAF in Ohio o_O

Based on a quick headcount...I have no clue. Probably not but...we do represent.

Damn, summer is starting to drag down the ratings.

Memorial day and the ratings were actually quite good considering last year.

Speaking of Dark Souls, I just started Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and just started questing. I like the purposeful weapon attacking but I feel I still need some general tips. I really wish I could lock on in the game.

You can lock on in MH3U, it just isn't really needed once you get a feel for the game

Also use this beginners guide to get the basics of the game down

Once you get a better feel for the basics of the game we can do some online play

Perfect! I actually took a half day in advance on Monday for E3 so I'll be leaving the office around 2PM if you want to do happy hour. We could go downtown towards the University/Arena district or do something a little closer to Georgesville Rd; there's a Buffalo Wild Wing's right down the street from the theater.

I'll have to find out how early my friend will get out of work that day and then add about 1.5hr to that to get up there. I'll pm you later with the details.

You should totally come out too Gorillaz. Even if it's just to grab a bite to eat in town.

You guys

I did a map quest it's like 30ish out, idk why I thought it was closer downtown but honestly I'm starting to lean toward going to it. Funny enough it's a day before my bday so that might be an interesting (might save the heavy drinking for the weekend) night.

but....well see

Ya know, getting white girl wasted and going to press conference event to sober up does sound like fun. I might need to get tickets now.

At what point do people stop making excuses for the constant drops for One Piece and just accept it's not what most Americans want to watch?

I hope people are ready to accept that One Piece doesn't drop because of a poor lead-in. Water 7 deserves better than this though, damn it.

Beware the Batman seems to be losing peoples interest

Hm, not sure if I'd go that far, it's way too early to make any definitive statement at this point. I think it'll end up fluctuating wildly like Clone Wars, the show is going to be carried by same day DVR views.

DBZ with the nostalgia bump with the 18-49 crowd. Really thought that AoT would still be the top show of the night. 150k drop for One Piece followed by another big drop from BE to Black Lagoon is really sad to see.

yea, OP drop off is starting to speak volumes. I think it's the fact it's too much for people to catch up to

Black Lagoon? idk I still think it's more then likely people are watching it by "other means" or have already seen it

Ya know, getting white girl wasted and going to press conference event to sober up does sound like fun. I might need to get tickets now.

getting white girl wasted will probably be the only way to watch it regardless, since I feel like the conference will be about everything coming out next year or delayed into 3015

Had the series started from episode 1 and was dropping like that then I'd agree with you

When it started 200 episodes in and we even have regulars here who skip it because they aren't caught up... yeah I'm going to say starting 200 episodes in was (and continues to be) a mistake
