Trump reportedly called Flynn at 3AM because he forgot how the dollar works

Hey, don't put words in my mouth. I didn't use the words fake news. I just don't trust the Huffington Post on principle to have quality reporting. You say no one is going to run with it, but I just don't see someone going "OK, this is nuts, let me text the Huffington Post that I have a scoop." I don't doubt that the source actually works at the White House but rumors can be misreported for any number of reasons - exaggerations, extrapolations, or just being a secondhand source. And you know, if the story is actually him offhandedly asking a question to a "friend" after finishing a call about other matters like Yemen, then that's a lot more benign than the lede here which is Trump frantically calls his National Security Advisor whether we want a strong dollar or a weak dollar instead of asking his treasury secretary or whoever chairs the fed.

Watching these things made me remember that series Boss (?), in which the main char is the mayor of Chicago (?) and has a serious disease so every public meeting he has he gets nervous afraid of doing something unusual.

I wasn't intending to put words in your mouth. I was only clarifying why I was pushing back on the other fake news posts here.

The lede here sets up the body of the story which is about why there are so many leaks coming out of the White House right now. I'm not super big on Huffpo in general, but the person who wrote this has been a political reporter for 30 years.

He's on that Vince McMahon schedule, he only sleeps like four hours and gets up at three AM. So He's doing that stuff while dressing, dropping the kids off at the pool, and eating breakfast.

The only thing he knows anything about is money about knowing that you want a strong dollar as opposed to a weak dollar is #1 in money.

And there's always an addition of insult to injury, because in every one of these horrendously ridiculous news stories about Trump, it's Trump who blames his entourage for his own incompetence. Here, he is mad at Flynn that Flynn suggests talking to an economics expert.

I mean jesus H Christ! my car has to have a yearly check up to see if its road worthy, and yet the POTUS seems to be allowed to be running an entire country with some serious faults!
