In my mind just write/talk about MMA (including UFC of course). Don't know how realistic that is, but to me breaking news and most interviews are never really that interesting anyway, prefer the analysis.

I'm guessing the UFC can't figure out who's leaking info to Ariel, so they decided to just ban him/MMA Fighting.com from any future events as "punishment".

Frankly these journalists should be pushing harder. The UFC could ban any of them on a whim and that should not be tolerated in any way. We've already seen Sherdog, Josh Gross, Helwani and plenty of others banned for simply reporting.

They should be standing for themselves and instead just ignore it.

Does it even matter?

If anything the leak got more people talking about it.

Sholler got the gall to say he won't comment on the Helwani stuff "out of respect for all parties involved". Don't seem like they had much respect for those guys as they were throwing them out.

UFC only wants to use media as a promotional arm, if they step out of line they don't like it and punish them. Basically just want media to be their dummies.

I think it says something that the reporter didn't follow up or press that at all.

Honestly its what every other sports league dreams of doing

I mean, it matters to the guys running that site because it directly fucks their job/income. I know MMA photographer Esther Lin also got escorted out because she's with that team so she missed out on shots during the main event.

I'm sure whoever is leaking info to Helwani is gonna keep doing it, but this was just Dana getting butthurt and flipping the table over.

EDIT: Misread. Basically, Helwani has been leaking info for a bit now ever since he got fired from FOX for siding with the free agency/pro-union fighters. Him leaking the Brock @ 200 info was the last straw for Dana and led to the ban. Any exposure is good, but this is just Dana being the angry rich kid in the room.
