Damn it makes me happy to see a positive reception to Pendulum in here, and from the crowd. They're a fucking cool band, each album is a great listen.

These guys are great and this is a fantastic set. But their drummer sounds a little shaky, at least for the first ten minutes or so... Im sure he's nervous.
i'm pretty surprised too actually, i thought they were a lot more well known, especially among EDM fans.
also i fucking love slam because of motorstorm lmao

Actually not necessarily, some of my fellow Berklee students who were some of the most insane guitarists alive couldn't play guitar hero for their life

Not surprised they would use this as a test for a live stage portion for the mainstage. More Producers should use live instruments integrated into their sets

I get that, it's a MIDI guitar controller, but it's still a completely different skill. You're playing something you've practiced, guitar hero is responding to a visual on a screen (unless you've practiced the song but lol nobody does that), that was my point

I think I'd heard some Pendulum in the arcade racers I used to play, and I knew they were popular, but I'd never had a chance to delve into their discography. (Though that's certainly changing after tonight.)

Pendulum have had a history of shakey drummers.
I play drums and to play an entire set at 175bpm and nail all of the drops in a song would be incredibly difficult.
