Competitive kills sometimes drop treasures, similar to the treasures found in U2 Co-Op. The multiplayer treasures are unique this time around though just like the single player treasures in U1 and U2. When you collect a matching set you unlock stuff like customization pieces for your character. Looks like the beta has at least 4 treasure sets you can collect and if you do, you get a starter pack for retail (probably a customization kit or a set of retail treasures).

I didn't mind Uncharted's multiplayer, but God, if it isn't sounding good every time they talk about it.

If that's the case, it shouldn't be that bad. People can just meet, party up and then exit the chatroom as soon as there's a full party so that other people can socialize and set up games. Plus, we always have the UC2 room.
