Usage Based Billing approved, Canadian govt shoots it down, more developments to come

Canadians normally don't complain about anything the government does ... well we grumble but then we just shrug.

This is the first time I can ever remember people getting this angry before. And the government listening too.

Regardless thank god it's election time ... easy votes for the government to pick up, and for once it will actually help us.

I like that.
Her question was a great representation of a lot of small Canadian businesses facing this decision. I ship out HD content over the internet as part of my job, and even compressed it's huge. I'm being forced to pay more just to do my job if UBB goes through.

I like her focus on global competition.

Which is brilliant.

So basically Bell is driving the CRTC.

Why do we have the CRTC again?
