60FPS most 99% of the time

outcome, ut3 runs like butter, so smooth, this game is going to be amazing. any chance of buying this game through steam?
 
Holy shit what a fucking game! The weapons that felt kind of wussy in UT2K4 are now fucking brutal, it's beautiful, and the darkstalker... oh man. Fucking awesome.
 
Wow, so much stuff to play right now, so many demos. UT3, R&C, Everyday, CoD4...

Hmm. I had to take RAM out of my system a while back because I was having issues. Down to 1GB now. Hope it runs OK.

I only have 1GB of RAM and the demo ran very smooth for me. You should be fine.

Runs at 30fps constantly with all in-game settings max (texture and world also, no v-sync).
Resolution of 1680x1050.








EDIT: At 1360x768 I get a constant 45 fps!

Pointless comment to be sure, but this demo isn't doing the COD4 demo any favors. In terms of weapons oomph and effect, that is. Yes, these are fantasy weapons and those are not, but maybe the exaggerated effect is something that is needed given that these are games.

And again, holy shit @ the darkstalker. Commandeering that one really makes you feel like a total evil, alien badass.

Quellex were you just playing right now, came across playing agaist u just rigth now...was one of your 5kills...

game was very very laggy but did decent, why it so laggy when the latency was round 50/100

Looks like you can force AA through control panels of GPUs. Just got out of a game (very laggy) with 8xAA and I didn't see any jaggies. Going to bump up the AA and turn on AF and see how my FPS handles it. With all settings max and 8xAA I was holding at 62FPS.

EDIT - Looks like I spoke too soon. Once I was in my own hosted game I was able to actually move around without lagging for 5 seconds and I did see jaggies. Oh well, game still looks pretty damn good.

Yeah, that was me. I left because it was way too laggy.
 
Fileshack is also offering their premium services for $1 for the first month. I just jumped in on that and will cancel prior to when it renews. Was downloading at 2mb/s so it was pretty fast.

Anyone know any really stable servers for the East Coast? So far I've been in a bunch of laggy games.
 
Any way to start a dedicated server? I'm uploading it to my server box right now, but I obviously won't be able to actually launch the game. I'm hoping I can get a server up :(
 
What settings would you guys recommend for me?

NVidia Go 7600 (non OCed)
AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-56 1.8GHZ
1GB RAM

and my HDD is 5400 RPM if that matters
 
Wow, wow, wow. It's running smoothly with 30fps on my shitty system. And it looks fine, too! Works much faster than Portal, for example.

Specs:
AMD Athlon XP 3000+
1GB RAM
GeForce 6600GT 128MB

1680x1050, minimum settings

Yes, the demo only has low res textures. Which sucks because then I can't accurately see how well the retail version is going to play for me.

I am running it at 30fps with full details at 1920x1200 with:

Athlon 64 3700+
2GB RAM
GeForce 7800GTX
