i just tried the demo
who the hell made this game ? i have never played a more frustrating game than this, everything is too slow, every command is so slow, and the tutorial is a torture, i just want to play the game but instead i see pop ups every nano second
transmission from an action point to another is slow and frustrating, if i want to move the same unit again i have to go out to the map and press on the unit again to move it, then do the same for every CP, there should be a simple one button to make you consume a CP and go on without having to go back to the map, we're in 2018, this is not acceptable
aiming is horrible, you aim with L3 and it's unresponsive
the graphics looks like a ps2 game remastered ( understandable due to budget issues)
a one chapter takes like an hour due to how slow everything is, it's suppose to be quick and responsive
once i'm finally done with a chapter, you go though several dialogues that annoy the hell out of you, you want to play the next chapter? you must view a dialogue, then go back to the book, and view another dialogue, then go back, and view another dialogue, then final you play the chapter, but before you play, you see another text dialogue, even during phases, while moving your unit you get stopped to see even more dialogue, they need to heavily reduce the dialogues, i know that japanese people enjoy these dialogues, i do sometimes when they are used in an acceptable amount and only where they add something to the story, but in this game the dialogue is way too much and way too annoying
enemy phase cannot be skipped, you have to see them walk very slowly, each one of their unit
i honestly would rather replay Hellblade (which i hated so much due to how boring and frustrating it is) then play one more chapter of VC4
this game is the complete opposite of fun, playing it is like torturing yourself, if i had kids and they did something bad i would ground them by not allowing them to play any other game until they finish Valkyria chronicles 4, that should teach them to behave
