Depends on the game. Between 2 and 8 hours.
Thanks! They said between 2-8 hours but that 8 hours was game streaming and light browser usage.
Its not going compete with Nintendo or their demo at all but this is gonna make a great companion device for people into handhelds and already invested in PC gaming, hopefully it sells enough to stick around.
This apu is more than capable considering the 3400g from 2 years ago can. Also you can install windows. So sad this won't be able to run anything properly due to being build on Linux and Proton. Will be a total shitshow once this gets into actual consmers hands. Will be nice for emulation I'm sure. But playing the latest AAA Windows only games on this? Yeah, forget it.
Yes, the latest yuzu emulator is amazing for AMD hardware.Could this run Switch games through a Switch emulator?
This is the actual Switch ProCould this run Switch games through a Switch emulator?
Laughs at jaguar tooThis things processor laughs at tegra haha
1.6 tflops. Less than the base PS4.Zen2....
How long it can work portably? 3 minutes?
1,6-2 TFLOPS is fine for 800p, I agree. At least for a while. Yes, you should be able to install Windows on this thing. But the two of us know exactly what kind of user experience that'd be, right? This apu is more than capable considering the 3400g from 2 years ago can. Also you can install windows.
I think the concept is fantastic. If only PC games came compatible with Linux per default... Valve can't do shit about it.I honestly don't know how they could have made this better, it has everything I've ever dreamed of in a handheld and more besides. For me it's going to be a dedicate XCOM machine for sure

Seems similar to the WiiU gamepad which was actually quite comfortable. Dpad and buttons I'd have to try for myself.I'm starting to get really interested in this little thingy but the analog sticks look really uncomfortable, I mean look at this:

The person playing in their ad loses the grip of the left analog stick. Or am I missing something?
It's going to support windows games through proton.I think the concept is fantastic. If only PC games came compatible with Linux per default... Valve can't do shit about it.
Yes, but Proton is really shitty. It doesn't look like it from the outside but once you've tried it for yourself... well.

You need to remember this is a pc, so yeah next gen games wont run at 4k, but pc has no generation. You'll be able to emulate super mario galaxy at 1440p/4k and you'll be able to play games from a few years at full hd and you'll be able to run older games at 4k etc etc.1,6-2 TFLOPS is fine for 800p, I agree.
