In-Home Streaming App for PS4.
It's starts with
"We will reveal our July cover this Thursday at 11 am central. However, it won't release until Monday night (after Sony's presser)"
That's not a joke.
Then he says (OP tweet) they have a feature on Valve who are at the Sony press conference.
There's a few jabs in between, but I don't think the "Editor-In-Chief of Game Informer" is joking about articles in their magazine.
To this:We will reveal our July cover this Thursday at 11 am central. However, it won't release until Monday night (after Sony's presser)
People presumably begin questioning why it won't be released until after Sony's conference and he responds with:Let's just say we have information we can't share until after the press conference, if you want to believe it's a Sony game that's up to you
And then the tweet in question:Perhaps, it's a game from a third party that is just showing it at the Sony press conference..or maybe, it's an indie game...chew on that =)
Maybe its an Xbox One game, but we have a feature on Valve that's presenting at Sony (I'm starting so many rumors with this one)
How are people still not understanding the context of the tweet?
It started with this:
To this:

And then the tweet in question:
He was just throwing out random scenarios that could explain why they're waiting until after Sony's conference to release the issue.
So the Valve part is also a joke?
Everything was just him making up random scenarios to explain why they're waiting for after Sony's conference to release the issue since everyone began to assume it's a Sony game.
He's trying to get the rumour mill churning, but I don't believe "we have an article on Valve" as being a random scenario form the editor of a magazine.
Would be pretty awesome!
That's exactly what it is. He's not saying they have an article on Valve. Read the tweets in order.

Edit: Anyone saying Dota 2, doesn't actually play Dota 2.
Basically. I'd rather play with Russians/South Americans than try to carry people playing with gamepads.
Except the PS4 has native KB/M support.
vita getting all the old valve game ports that shield got

The valve comment was attached to tue Xbox one comment.I read the tweets in order, and that last tweet does not ring of the same hypotheticals as the others. Besides, Valve could be described as a 3rd party and a indie (they publish their own games).
"It could be a third party"
"It could be a Sony game"
"We have a Valve feature"
See the difference?
The valve comment was attached to tue Xbox one comment.
Nothing is happenimg with valve, so far as we/they now. It's all hypothetical

not happening.I wonder what would happen to gaf if half life 3 was announced and comes to ps4 6 months before pc
Who me? I thought my lying/joke was pretty clear “@onionpowder: @GI_AndyMc Do you see what you have done? http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=830290 …”
Valve doesn't have a conference, they have to pick either Sony or MS. He likely made it thay way to dispel Sony exclusive, and those are what there are aside from Nintendo. So why mention Valve? More specifically, why not say "it could be a Valve feature"? It's incredibly specific considering the vagueness of his previous tweets.
not happening.
valve could announce half life 3 at sony's e3 though. valve doesn't have its own conference and look at what happened to that 10-min steambox "conference" where the hype lasted longer than the whole thing.
at e3, they are instantly playing to 2+ million peeps watching online plus the 6000 people inside the auditorium which includes nytimes, cnet, bloomberg, etc. and an international games media presence.
Quick someone write a fan-fic about Gaben announcing HL3 at Sony's presser.
I don't think Valve would be grasping for exposure for a Half Life 3 reveal, those conferences are not how Valve likes to communicate with their fans. Remember, this is a company who's founder casually confirmed Source 2 when some fans met him in the lobby.
yes, but source 2 isn't half life 3.
any exposure is good exposure. no one is going to be a hippie thinking, "we don't care we so popular #yolo".
if they are going to announce it, might as well do it through a platform where millions of people tune in.

weird wording, but I think that's what he means
