Quick question, the PSN code for PS All-stars that was included with the amazon black friday vitas, will it work in Canada?

Something I would love to see is universal playtime statistics and rankings (like the 3DS), since not all games offer playtime tracking nor does it always work correctly (Gravity Rush).

Yes. Only PSN codes (from the US) that are unusable in Canada are the money cards. PS+ should work too IIRC.

Oh wow, just noticed the PSP versions of PES 2012 and 2013 are on PSN for £15.99 each. So, so tempted to buy 2013. Sure, a dedicated Vita version would be preferable obviously, but the PSP versions were based on the superior PS2 engine and were fantastic.

I haven't played the series on PSP since about 2009 - does anyone know if 2012 and/or 2013 are still as good and hold up well?

I imagine that the game has just been roster updates since you last played it, lol.

So far AC Lib is my second favorite AC. The graphical glitches are unfortunate, but the feeling of AC freerunning is great and the disguise system makes you take the game at a much slower pace than Ezio's trilogy did. It's very much like the first AC in terms of the way it encourages you to take your time, but it also has everything that made AC2 so great.

Highly recommended.

Nice...think I'll at least try to Gamefly it once I've finished AC3.

hope One Piece musou really moves the system

Why would it when it's on PS3, a much more desirable product ATM?

Quick tech question:

Can the vita handle the iOS/Android ports of GTA? I don't think there's a chance in hell that they would come to Vita, because Sony, but I would still like to know.

You mean because R*. R* is releasing ISO dumps of the PS2 GTA games on PSN but those aren't playable on Vita now and according to some people are unlikely to ever be. If R* does an HD collection of GTAIII and GTAPortable games and puts on PSN then you can cross your fingers and kinda hope it's for PS3 and PSV.

Quick question guys, when browsing GAF on the Vita, how do you see the spoiler tags...

Tap the tag.

Good tip, is there a way to copy/paste or highlight text?

I'd buy Field Commander for $2.50. If the online servers are still up we should all buy Field Commander.

I had fun with that on PSP, for that price I would rebuy as I have 7 bucks on my psn wallet that's been sitting there for almost a year now. It's $9.99 for me though. Field Commander is like Advance Wars without AW charms. Wish SOE would bring out a sequel and put a little more charm in it.

Also a week with my vita and mostly what I have done is play Welcome park and netflix and stuff. Haven't played ACIII:L or even downloaded the PSABR game yet. Not sure why they don't have more non gaming apps being released weekly, seems like a missed opportunity IMO. The browser is also very competent, but needs audio/video support and portrait/orientation view. I went to a porn site and had to download the video instead of just streaming it. Horrible and I just went to my computer instead.

Haha probably. None of the older versions are available otherwise I'd pick one of them up instead. Since 2013 only came out today apparently, I might wait a bit to see if 2012 gets a reduction. Reading round it's the exact same game.

After playing through half of UC:GA so far for the upgraded cards in Uncarded, I am slowly getting the impression that this might become my favourite Uncharted game. How they handled the exploration for treasures makes the play experience VERY rewarding for me.

Still $9,99 :/

I'm having the exact same thought. Chemistry between Drake and Chase is also great and for the first time ever, Nate is a real treasure hunter :)

PSBlog posted that price as a PS+ price slash. Seems non-PS+ users will get it for $5. I suspect this was supposed to be posted for next Tuesday's update.

Licorice-flavoured booze?
There's a demo of LBP Vita on the UK store, not sure how long it's been up though, have to say this is probably the first Vita game that has actually really blown me away graphically, it looks absolutely stunning, to my eyes it looks as good as the PS3 version.

Here I am sitting with an EU Vita and I realized that all the PSX games are going to be 50Hz ones, which is of course, a huge bummer.

Is there any way to easily use an US PSN account to actually play the games the way they are meant to be played. And by easily I mean not having to backup, reset, set up, play, and then restore the backed up EU account whenever I want to play the games I have purchased from EU PSN.

IMO it looks better than the PS3 games. Great art + image quality.

The game is also easily the best one. The demo isn't all that great though, it's just the tutorial levels.

Bullshots, those same shots were used for the PS3/360 versions, IIRC.
Yup. You can just reverse image search them like I did in the announcement thread and find 1080p bullshots that were used in character reveals.

It's shameful, but TN has done pretty good work on the Vita so far - I'm sure it'll look nice.

Sure you just need second vita ;)

Thanks for the reply. The PS+ codes from the bundles apparently don't work from what I've read and I found out the hard way that the money cards don't.

My experiment seems to confirm, but I wanted a second opinion. If I set saves to automatically upload at night, I can't have a game running in the background for it to actually work, right? One night I had Person 4 running and it didn't upload the save. Then I killed the game and the next night it uploaded. Seems to confirm it, but want to be sure it isn't coincidence as it is kind of annoying I can't leave a game in the background.

Right, which makes it all the more frustrating when Jeff from Giantbomb continually points out that free is a good price for it. we get it, the handheld version of uncharted lacks the huge moments of UC2 and 3, but that doesn't make it a bad game and it certainly a great handheld game. The irony of a handheld game coming so close to a console game that it gets punished for not being close enough.

It's a great game but it lacks the two distinctive qualities of the franchise, which is the quality writing and the cinematic moments. I can see how it's a disappointing game for some people, even if it's better than Naughty Dog's games in other areas.

This sounds right, because I assume it just launches CMA in sleep mode. I'll try and remember to test it tonight if you don't have anything more conclusive in the meantime.

if the games continue their trend of sucking valhalla knights 3 should be able to manage to get under a 35 metacritic if it gets an english release lol

(first game was a 53, second 50 the wii one was a 35)

hopefully they just gave the game a massive overhaul and rebalanced everything. though from what I have seen it just looks like more of the same which means I wouldn't mind seeing Marvelous Entertainment pass on bringing it over and us getting rune factor 4 or half minute hero 2 instead.

I love how theres a Persona game in the top 5 in almost every category.

3/7, not quite. :(

As someone said in the comments, it's a little scary how people are taking to a full priced and by most accounts (most) pretty substandard digital version of CoD. Guess the desire to have it everywhere, all the time succeeds all else.

Come on America, unleash your inner Persona. You're just rejecting your true feelings.

Lack of cinematic moments is the main reason it's the best game in the series.
