Originally my problems with the game were mainly:
combat is a bit too slow
exploration is quite slow, especially if you have to back track
I'll probably give it another shot. I did get somewhat far the first time. But really the thing I hated most was having to retrace your steps at times because your group moves so damn slow on the local maps.
You'll have both versions of the games show up in your library. Just find the right one.
Any differences between PS4 and XBO versions?, which one to choose?
Also, when did $39.99 = £34.99, pfffttttt
You know the value of money changes right? Right now 1 USD = .88 euros so its slightly cheaper for euros on a straight conversion.
Might try myself to this with some birthday money.
Could it be compared to Divinity in the way it plays?

It's somewhat similar in the basics, but Divinity has a much better combat system.
Wasteland 2, at least in Vanilla, played sort of like a fairly basic XCOM EU riff in combat, though without abilities.
Divinity is a much more up to date style of turn based combat. Whereas Wasteland 2 is really basic, although I guess the update may have made it better so I'll have to see how that turned out to judge it again.
Combat is basic?, how so, does it detract from the game?
Hmmm......a post apocolyptic, turn based, mash up of XCOM and (original) FO sounds right up my street...
Just a bit concerned about the posts about basic combat..........

Is this up in the US psn store? Can't find it.
This doesn't excuse the last 8 years of shitty PSN prices.
Amazon had this up for £26 as a pre-order im not sure what it is now though.

I really don't know or care about PSN pricing. But it isn't as simple as you'd think since goods are not priced based on your concept of what is fair or "shitty".
Sent a polite tweet to Brian Fargo to see if the camera is intentionally set the way it is it if it's a possible bug? I'm sure they knew it may have gotten some feedback from the get go.
I vaguely remember it being annoyingly high/straight-down when I first started playing the original a year ago. But I got used to it eventually.Sent a polite tweet to Brian Fargo to see if the camera is intentionally set the way it is or if it's a possible bug? if I buy an old PC version, will it update to the director's cut? :3
The camera isn't broken it's just not up to the standards of the original PC release and to be fair even there it was always one of the biggest gripes against the game most people had.
How is that even possible. It sucked in the original. The camera isn't broken it's just not up to the standards of the original PC release
50-80 hours depending on how much you do.40 bucks??? Is it worth it? Thought it would be cheaper. How long is this game?
So is the camera a deal breaker for the PS4?

Holy Shit the camera is fucking awful. The PC version seems a bit of a mess, crashing a lot either on start up or in game, RT on a pad won't bring up the wheel for me just pings the radio ( need to bring up the LT wheel then press RT) the controls in general feel clunky with a pad and it's not helped by the ridiculous camera.
Think I'll just uninstall it again.
