I've wondered that too. Apparently, rain is an invisible, mass-less object that doesn't refract light in any way.

I like at the beginning, that he brings up a machine gun, and people around him react to the sight of it (cause hey, someone pulls out a machine gun, I'm not gonna continue on with my current routine.)

This is a local TV station with static bars
