I'm impressed, I hope they can boost it to 1080p post launch, I know it's not a huge issue but it would definitely help clean up image quality.
I love how there's one lady walking by ten dead bodies without a care in the world.

Is the leaked footage from the beta or full version?
It's weird that the these two webms you've posted are sped up to be 60 fps when the actual videos they are taken from (and the game itself) are not.

I'm 99% sure it's BETA. That 1% is for the silly thinking of that being the 'full' version.

Well, i guess that one guy was right when he said the game really shines when it rains. Wow.
Gameplay looks fun. I liked doing that in GTA. Just cause mayham in the streets and see how long you last.

To be fair it looks basically identical to the ps4 version. I'm putting this game in the red dead redemption catagory from last gen. in comparisons sake. I heard a lot of people played that game on the ps3 and really enjoyed it. (i am tlaking about graphics and not gameplay comparison)
Ps3 version was like 600p wasnt it? had missing npc's and geometry. This is looks basically identical to the ps4, just with a resolution drop.
If the reviews are good i'll get it on ps4 but i don't think xbone players have anything to worry about. If they want the game

yeh GTAV had an insane budget etc. I really do expect it to look better than a new IP, so i'm not surprised really. GTAV looked groundbreaking in places

I'm hoping that the Ps4 footage has limited Ai because of Beta or that the Ai will be patched Day1. If not that was pretty poor. You don't wait for the light to turn green when a madman is firing in front of you. The footage may have been a bad representation, but I hoped peds would get out of vehicles and run the opposite direct of the gun fight or speed off. At the end he shoots the cop across the street and the cars near him have an appropriate reaction but the cars at the stoplight ahead do nothing. Maybe if he had a sniper they were ducking down but from the footage it seemed like they were waiting for the light to change. Even at the end you can see more cars pulling up to the light. There was also some sporadic street ped reactions. Other than that looks great the ped/car density in particular looks good, as does the wind.

crazy how in the ps2 days rockstar's games had some of the worst graphics, and now they pump out games with some of the best graphics seen on consoles. I can't wait to see what they do with PS4/XB1. A new manhunt game would be kinda cool...It's definitely an upgrade, lol.
I hope Boris gets some nice ENB stuff going for watchdogs.

If anything this thread shows how well Rockstar did with GTA V on such limited hardware.
Bear in mind from what I've seen so far you can't fly or use a sub in this game.

This looks amazing. Definitely NOT cancelling my order.
When Watch Dogs turned out to look very different from its E3 2012 Reveal i wholeheartedly agreed with the shitstorm it created within the community. Ubisoft marketing deserved all the shit they got.
Having too much of a love for openworld games, i didn't punish them with a lost sale. I still felt i wanted to play this game. Shame on me, perhaps.
But now it seems very popular to bash anything WatchDogs-related. This, while i look at a product that for me is obvious a lot of designers and programmers poured heart and soul into. It gives me a bad taste in my mouth about the community.

At 2:48 you can another car pulling up to the light like nothing is wrong.
Like I said I can't tell exactly but from the footage it looks like the northern cars aren't reacting at all, and even the cars nearby didn't really seem to be reacting until he shot in the road.
I mentioned that but realistically how much better can a 15Gb beta of a Gold game get?
Ubisoft did deserve most of the shit they got, GAF hyperbole or not. Basically their out of touch approach all but confirmed a downgrade. The game's (very) far from ugly but they know and we know - it ain't quite what we saw a couple years back, and they got caught in that lie but never fessed up.
I think GTA has a better lighting engine.

From the footage I've seen all the gun shop owners look alike.
But maybe I've got the wrong idea about US cities and there's only one gun shop.
