When I saw "anime", that's really a catch all term. Yes, the extra time and effort put into Manga can have "better" results than the same scene done via Anime, but it's all the same in the end.

I am conflicted. On one side I'm pro people being free to discuss whatever they want and pro dark humor.. but I can't help to imagine how this thread would sound if it were the other way around. Imagine things like "the guy could be the best I've ever seen, but if he pulls out something smaller than 10 inches I'm out." And "no I prefer Dem BIG wallets." Or "he must party all night and be at least 6 feet tall."

But seriously, I think you're focusing a bit much on some of the more negative posts in this thread. The ratio of "I find this woman very attractive" to "If I don't like what she has going on downstairs, I'm out" is pretty in favor of people just listing people they find attractive. I think my own post in this thread was fairly reasonable.
I also think the general direction of the examples set in the first post and first few replies would determine the direction of the thread, and I think that's what happened here. The title doesn't specify physical attraction or emotional attraction, but the direction of the thread from the beginning specified the physical over emotional.

While the thread title could be interpreted as something where people are asked to talk about personality traits too, the OP clearly went for physical things.
Personality traits aren't really something that are manifested physically.
When people talk about what they are attracted to in physically visible things in men and women they are just telling what pleases their eyes. It doesn't mean they only accept that kind of people to be their friends or significant others.
And it doesn't mean their current significant other isn't good enough or even perfect for them if he/she doesn't fit into whatever pleases their aesthetical senses.
People are not prohibited to like "10/10" things even if they are "1/10" themselves. It's not as if "ugly" people can't like the looks of people who look way "over their league." In fact when you said if people are looking for 10/10 people they'd better be 11/10 themselves it kinda came off as if some people are too ugly for others. I know you meant well, but when you look at what you wrote you are kinda just making the gap between beautiful and ugly even larger.
Human beings are physical beings. People in general see all kinds of physical things as something that might look good to them. It can be a tree. It can be a car. It can be the ocean. It can be a dog. And, gasp, it can be a woman or a man.
And in a thread about what is physically attractive it's better to show pictures of them than not show them. I mean, if there's a thread about paintings and someone asks what paintings people find to be the most beautiful the thread will serve its purpose much better if some pictures are shown instead of just naming some paintings.
Also, even if we find some 100000/100 person physically attractive it doesn't mean we would even want to be with that person. I mean, personally I've met a few people who were absolutely among the most beautiful and attractive women I have ever seen in my life but getting to know them even a bit more showed me I could never ever live with them as their personalities were completely the opposite of what I like.
Lastly, what comes to men seeming to be harsh and judgemental with their talks about the looks of women, if you think women don't do the same thing you've got another thing coming. Go and look at some other boards where the majority are adult women and check out their threads about what they physically like in men.

By the way, I guarantee that if a man and a woman are having a sexually intimate moment in bed and the man wants to tell how much he loves the look of the woman's breasts, if he says tits instead of breasts it comes straight from the heart without a filter and shows his appreciation way more than what going all clinical with the words will ever do

Maybe I missed them, but I don't really see people making a bunch of posts saying things like they wouldn't date a girl unless they had X Y and Z. People are generally just saying, 'I find these kinds of girls attractive'.
There even seems to be a pretty good variety in the type of girls too, it's not all girls with huge breasts or super model bodies.
As for discussion on personality instead of looks... I honestly don't think there would be much to discuss. Most people generally seem to like the same personalities.
