4 player madness.
My friends and I played the hell out of Bomberman Generation and Bomberman Jetters on Gamecube back in the day:
Nothing is happening. Or rather, Konami happened. What's happening with it?
Generation :
Really cool spin off title that was similar to 64. Still play through it every few years because of how fun the core gameplay is.
Fantastic multiplayer game, it has sweet game modes like 'land grab' 'zombie' and a map where all the upgrades are in the centre which made for extremely fast and intense games.
This thread made me realize the Bomberman franchise would be really well suited as a downloadable budget title. What's happening with it?
That's some of the worst box art I've seen.
RIP bombermans
this is the one i spent the most time with personally, but playing a 10 player saturn one is totally on my bucket list
The support for Bomberman 64 is really odd to me.
I could never get past the fact that bombs are just a circle-radius, rather than Cross shapes influenced by blocks and walls.
Saturn Bomberman
That sounds like such a different game, but clearly it's fun in-of itself.Bomberman 64 multiplayer was really all about lobbing bombs on your opponents head and trying to throw them off the stage in their stunned state, that or picking up the masks/skulls.
Anyone else read about this back in the day and always wanted to play it?
How were these GBC games?
Saw them in Nintendo Power back in the day, and always wanted to play them, but never got to try them.

Bomberman Online was really well done. Lots of great variety and variations.
