What color do you prefer your next gen consoles to be?

Remember the blue and yellow pikachu n64 lol

The answer is they should go back to having options of colours rather than just black, silver or white, I actually enjoyed the look of the GameCube and they should have had more colours

The one good thing in that wall of images: the black Wii. Best looking console of this gen, not that there's much competition.

Any non-standard color.

If the console is released as white, I want mine black.
If the console is released as black, I want mine white.

I think every console should launch with at least 2 colors.

Black
and Clear or anything else. Really want something clear

surprised at the lack of clear things, especially controllers. Last gen selection was far far better.

I got so bored and tired of this generation dragging on with the motion peripheral BS (so tired and desperate I actually bought move) so I decided I'm going back to where I belong - the PC, so don't care any more. I think Sony/MS lost me as a definite customer for the next generation now.

Though if it's relevant the new gaming PC case is black. Corsair 650d.

This is a good color too. I want a purple 360/PS3/Wii now. D:
I am not going to like, I didn't mind having a purple gamecube. Otherwise, I am good with either stark white or black again. Not sure about going glossy or not. The old ps3 did look cool, but you had to wipe it off every 3-5 days just to make it look like it had not been abandoned. I guess matte has always been fine with me.

"Well let me tell ya something Brother!
When the next generation of consoles hit the ring and squares off against the hundreds of thousands of Hulkamaniacs who have just been waiting to get their hands on them they're gonna be Red and Yellow Brother!
They're gonna be Red and Yellow like the colors of the Hulkamaniacs that say their prayers, take their vitamins and who the Hulkster will never let down! Because watcha gonna DOOOO when the next generation of video game consoles arrives brother and runs Wild on YOUUUUUUUUUUU!"

Forgive me. Its been a long week and I'm tired.

I like all of my consoles to be black. If the Wii U only launches in white like the Wii did, I will refuse to buy one until it comes out in black. I hate white electronics.

I don't think I ultimately care what color the system is, as long as all the accessories match. I own a matte black Xbox 360 S, with a glossy black Kinect, a matte white Xbox Live Vision camera, a matte white controller with a matte white chat keyboard and headset, and a glossy white HD DVD drive. I'd rather not repeat the mismatched surfaces and colors with the next generation.

Holy shit dat floral N64. It's so beyond ridiculous that it makes a full circle to kick-ass town. I think I kinda need it.

Anyway, I found my modded PSX not too long ago. Not sure if it still works, but it still looks cheesy/awesome. :p

Part of me really wanted a full-on matching console to go with those special edition Tron Legacy controllers...

As for the actual question, I like my consoles black. I'll take white if I have to, but anything other than those two just looks like a toy to me.

I can only see black or white working. Other than handhelds, I think colorful consoles make certain people think "kid's toy". Not myself particularly, but I can see the notion, especially among clueless parents.
