Sounds about right. I fill in what I know about Quantic Dream:Let's add some years
Santa Monica - nearly 4 years in dev
- Stig making new IP since GoW3
- Some resources could have gone to GoWA
- Some resources could have gone to helping other studios
Bend - nearly 2 years in dev
- making next big game after Uncharted GA
- small team could have made Fight for Fortune card game
Guerilla Games - unknown
- No idea how long Guerilla Games 2nd team starting working on new IP, perhaps a lot of their resources went to Killzone Shadowfall
Media Molecule - nearly 3 years in dev
- making new IP since LBP2
- Some resources gone into helping make LBP Vita
- Small team making Tearaway
Haven't looked into Japan or London as those teams are too large and hard to tell what resources goes into what. As you can tell from the above list it is not accurate due to variables of resources taken from the studio on other projects, however we know around how long new projects from the teams have been in development from by a guess. If I had to guess we will either see Santa Monica or Media Molecule game announced next.
E3 to VGAs isn't just a few months later lol. Like half a year! They could still show Uncharted.
At E308 they announced God of War III via a CGI trailer, then they revealed gameplay at the VGAs a few months later. It's not unprecedented.
The PlayStation 4 North American launch event earlier today was accompanied by logos for major first-party developers including Sony Santa Monica Studio, Bend Studio and Media Molecule.
While nothing new was shown off in regards to whatever new projects these companies are working on, it is pretty much a given that each studio is beavering away on a PS4 title.
To whet our appetites however, Shuhei Yoshida, the President of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios (SCE WWS), complemented the teaser with the words, epic, panic, extraordinary, giving us food for thought as to how the games are shaping up.
He's 'too scared' to talk about SSM's IP,it's not scary.http://www.psu.com/a021664/Sony-tea...-Molecule-PS4-games--epic-panic-extraordinary

Correct.
Shu: ''We have 16 internal worldwide studios and all the studios have PS4 games in development''
The studios Sony owns are 12 though?
He's 'too scared' to talk about SSM's IP,it's not scary.

They'll show gameplay snippets of: The Order 1886, Infamous and maybe a cutscene from the new Uncharted.
