Ah, debating the strength levels of fictional super heroes.
Truth is, Spidey is powered by the sales of Marvel merchandise. The more we buy, the stronger he gets. Praise Spidey.
The Walrus has the proportional strength, speed, and agility of a Walrus
Spidey is the definition of glass cannon.
Eh, not really. He takes plenty of beatings from Venom.
Glass cannon is like Scarlet Witch.
Wanda's power is a combination of "probability alteration" and "chaos magic."Why doesn't she just warp reality so she can take punches then? ::kappa
I'm just messing around you guys are right
Insect...fucking comics.
^Does this firelord lack the ability to set people on fire?
Spiders are stronk man. Spiderman is a spider, man.
if that was the case, he would be untouchable, since hes by far the most popular comic book superhero
Have you ever met my friend, Batman?
He means in terms of merchandise revenue, where Spider-Man dwarfs everyone by a lot.

The evidence.
It's kind of amusing knowing this and hearing about how Spider-Man almost didn't exist because the higher-ups had no confidence in the character.
All superheroes are just as powerful as the story line needs them to be at the moment the story is told.
In the origins of Batman and Spider-Man, they were pretty fragile and today they probably deflect laser beams and lift buildings.

and then Peter A David (Hulk's main writer at the time) tries to make right that previous showing:
Wasn't that when he had the Captain Universe powers though?
MCU Spiderman strength level:back to 10-20tons it seems
I thinkYep, much stronger (and close to the comics) than the other Spider-Man films.
Eh, that is a stupid scan as firelord was jobbing super hard. I believe Firelord was a herald of Galactus (not the strongest one but still a herald).
Spidey on his best day wouldn't stand a chance (real Spidey not universe Spidey). So that isn't a good example of spider-man.
Comic book powers are inconsistent and can vary depending on the needs of the story. That's really about it.
Can't really tell if Flash is a glass cannon though because of his Speed Force bullshit.
Like, he can run at 13 trillion times light speed and have 'a punch with the force of a white dwarf star', the Infinite Mass Punch or whatever, but this dude can get shot up by regular bullets.
So like, the Speed Force only really works as a durability enhancer if he's running super-fast? Idk.
Lol.
EDIT: Also:

I thinkweaker than Spider-Man 2 version - due to train feat
The Silver Surfer is physically weak. The Power Cosmic just keeps him in the fight.

If Flash was feeling especially dickish he could just reverse the momentum of the bullets and return them to sender with interest. No its in his subconscious as well. If he was to get shot the bullet wouldn't have enough time to pierce his skin or the speed force would simply remove the bullet from the universe with a SfD
Plus his healing factor is insane
If you can bench press 10-20 tons due to proportionate strength, you would realistically be able to lift a lot more when utilizing the rest of your body. Seeing as a capoeria kick from a normal human can have up to 1800 lbs of force, I mean -- realistically any heavy hitter could kill any other heavy hitter unless they were super durable.
Pete's got some durability, but he can't really stop bullets or knives or take too many well-placed body blows. Like, iirc, he couldn't beat Captain America during Civil War (before Dan Slott taught him Kung Fu) -- partially because he couldn't hit him hard enough to knock him out without killing him, partially because he didn't want to fight his idol, and partially because he was simply the lesser fighter and getting licked too much.

If you can handle 10-20 tons, how far would a stab from an average human with a knife really go?

Spider-man's tough enough to take hits to the face from guys like Punisher like it's nothing

Honestly that fight he had against Captain America during Civil war was pretty much straight up bs. Yes Spider-man was holding back because he didn't really want to fight Captain America but Captain America also shouldn't be tagging him nearly as much as he did since Spidey would realistically run circles around him thanks to his agility and spider-sense.
A personal favourite feat of strength:

I was thinking vulnerability to pressure points or vital areas rather than typical blunt trauma, hence "well-placed". He can take a punch from a lot of heavy hitters, such as Rhino and Juggernaut. But Kraven at 2 ton strength can hurt him, which is roughly twice as strong as Cap.
