BioShock and COD on the promise list.
This kind of sums up my reactionPie Lord said:The Vita is turning out to be exactly the opposite of what I was expecting. I was expecting a line up of interesting games at a bad price points, but instead I'm getting a great price point with no interesting games. It seems Sony just can't win with me personally these days.
Really, it's like bizarro world when Sony's handheld has more first parties lined up for launch than Nintendo's.Amir0x said:Seriously I said this when NGP first revealed. Never in the history of a platform has a system revealed with virtually no third party games shown at all. Mario said he had something ready, but they didn't show it.
Now we're at E3, and they have announced, like, a paltry 4 or 5 third party games out of a reported EIGHTY total games?
What the fuck is going on?
Should someone argue why I shouldn't be concerned at this point about the desolate lineup?
And how many of those will end up being PSV versions of a console title?Nirolak said:Kaz Hirai: "There are over 80 games for the PlayStation Vita from virtually every publisher in the industry."
Where the hell are they?
Or TGS.V_Ben said:I get the feeling that when we get a date, we'll see all the third party stuff. Gamescom.
DeaconKnowledge said:Third parties will be hesitant to support the Vita, particularly after the OG PSP.

With the way PSP went and the way Vita is priced, I don't think Japanese third parties are gonna be a problem.

Zen said:Not really, since they're going to be able to almost 1:1 leverage their work on consoles for the NGP. Japanese publishers are already on board, to be sure.
Linkzg said:The Ninja game looked a hell of a lot like Shinobido
Shinobido is Acquire's ninja franchise post-Tenchu (Acquire made Tenchu 1, 2, and 4). Really kickass games on PS2 and PSP, and they announced games for Vita I believe.
Neifirst said:I know it's not the same as a list of brand-new games, but people are overlooking the fact that PSP games available on PSN will be fully compatible and (I believe) run at a higher resolution. So at least there's a very big back catalog of meaty RPGs, action RPGs, etc. that will look good to tide you over until the new stuff gets here. And with PSP's dominance in Japan, does anyone really doubt that 3rd party support will be there?
