Rocked said:America may be getting Wii Play in 2007, but you're the only territory getting Excite Truck (which looks to be the better game) this year, so stop complaining.
«þ» said:Actually you're probably right.
It would be awesome being able to controlling the power and intensity of the shots though.
Alkaliine said:True, but at least Wii Tennis will offer that.

Quick, who am I?

Damn, EAD still has Wii MotorSports and Wii Music to handle. (Meaning find out how to release these experimental projects onto a commercial package)
gururoji said:When I preordered a Wii at EB, the dude said that that VC point card + classic controller thing WAS happening in the US. Any other EB/Gamestop employess here that can vouch for it?

ziran said:Pose Mii
Twist the Wii Remote to rotate the Mii characters and quickly slot them into the correct positions as they fall down the screen.
perryfarrell said:Does anybody here on this forum think that this will be fun for more than 5 seconds? The game reminds me of those shape sorters, and these are toys for 8-year olds.
datruth29 said:When I see things like this, and the whole Mii thing that Nintendo is running with, I can't help but thing that Nintendo is going to be offering a lot of these "Mii" on there online store front.

good to hear. billiards looks like it's going to be fun.godisturbed said:FROM LATEST NOM:
Big surprise is the pool game which seems more in depth and involving than any of the Wii sports games. Use dpdad to line up shot and remote to choose where to strike ball. Hold a button and pull back on remote like a cue and push forward to take shot. (with the speed affecting power)
The controls the camera the feel, everything about pool makes it great.
i agree. from the video pose mii looks boring.perryfarrell said:Does anybody here on this forum think that this will be fun for more than 5 seconds? The game reminds me of those shape sorters, and these are toys for 8-year olds.
£35 for this and a controller, so £5 for this game...... If it is crap bar one or two of them, no big deal in my opinion!!ziran said:i agree. from the video pose mii looks boring.
i'm not criticising the package, i agree with you, it's great.DefectiveReject said:£35 for this and a controller, so £5 for this game...... If it is crap bar one or two of them, no big deal in my opinion!!

catfish said:erf, I thought I was getting that at launch with my PAL Wii
Don't you twist the Wii mote to get the desired shape you need? It shows people what the controller can do. To my Missus she can't believe it can do that, so to some it is a cool concept!!ziran said:i'm not criticising the package, i agree with you, it's great.
in fact most of the games look fun imo, but pose mii looks like the weakest of what's been shown. i can see flicking through the shapes becoming annoying.
I read that you press a or b to make the poses and twist it to align the Miis.DefectiveReject said:Don't you twist the Wii mote to get the desired shape you need? It shows people what the controller can do. To my Missus she can't believe it can do that, so to some it is a cool concept!!

Take control of a tank with the Wii Remote; aim the cannon, bounce shells off walls, and blast your opponent to bits!

Alkaliine said:I was under the impression that in table tennis you actually don't swing to hit the ball, instead you move the paddle to where the ball is heading, and the paddle will hit the ball automatically.
Britprog said:Good news for UK gaffers, it looks like the retail price for Wii play is £35. Thats a fiver less than normal Wii games.
It means it ends up costing £5 for just Wii Play, cause it cost £30 for an Wiimote.
