For comparison, Godzilla made three times that in its opening weekend and still hasn't cracked $200 million domestic.

Saw this movie tonight it's a solid fun movie, lots of good action, minimal story, and the Rock has some good set piece moments. But those expecting a fantasy movie will be disappointed

No. It's already made over 25% more than it's production budget. Probably a disappointment that it didn't make more, but not a bomb.

In general film accounting is much more complicated than comparing a production cost number listed on film sites to the international gross.

It's not in the top 40 of films released in the last year (#42) and not in the top 20 openings of 2014 (#22).

Definitely not the return on investment that anyone wanted given the budget.
