I can't wait for the reviews to hit. If we get 5s or 6s across the board, the meltdown would be epic, probably even more than the Haze and Lair meltdowns considering Dyack's recent postings in this forum.

Also, it's nice to see some of the Sony fanboys having a field day with this. God knows they've had a lot to endure with the Haze/Lair meltdowns.

All Mark did was say that the early demo he played at E3 2006 was terrible. Then the excuses started pooring in about how this was an old demo and blah blah blah, all that bullshit. I think the only reason why now is rock bottom is because it is so close to the release, so you can't expect them to change anything at this point.

I hope it turns out good, and I hope there is a demo to try. All I am really hating on now is the awful cutscenes...And the graphics...And the general style of things...And the jank to all the actions and clunky looking combat. I still plan to pick it up.

the animation is really, really bad though. Definately looks last gen-ish. It has the same clunkyness that ED had, as do the facial expressions. I know its a high standard for PS2 games, but MGS2 came out like 7 fucking years ago, there's no excuse for a current game with all the funding and resources TH has had to have animation that is so much worse.

GAF loves its hyperbole so I expected the intro cinematics to be... well, a lot better than that. The animation really is stiff and unconvincing. Terrible use of slow-mo too.

Hopefully the gameplay itself will make up for it.

Oh man I feel so bad about this. The cinematics holy shit. Thought maybe just maybe that the one put on xbox live last year was just early (though no one really shows unfinished cutscenes), but boy was I wrong...

I suppose the actual gameplay and loot stuff could be fun in a Diablo/PSO/Monster Hunter kind of way. I mean those games didn't need story. But then again i'm kind of tired of those games and was hoping Too Human could mix in story with that style of gameplay. Now without story and 4 player support I really wonder...
