I don't think they get much of any discount on hardware. My mother in law works there and we always ask and it's never worth the shipping cost.

Scuf announced a licensing agreement with Microsoft for its technology and will be official 3rd party controller partner.
Looks like Microsoft had to pay up to use scuf's paddle design. Wonder how much this deal was worth to scuf?

Whoa, good for SCUF then. I had assumed that company would've been basically dead after the Elite controller but I guess they were smart to have gotten patents on the paddles.
Ordered from Komplett (Norway) as well. Their date has been all over the place.

So I'm planning on picking up the Elite console in Nov., but i just wanna know if this new controller comes with the standard 3.5mm audio jack or do you need an adapter?
It comes with the 3.5mm jack.

I use that controller to play Counter-Strike occasionally. I thought it fit in aesthetically with my AK-47 in game.
I'll probably take them off before they damage the controller, though. Didn't look as nice as I wanted.

Does the elite have clicky shoulder buttons and dpad like the normal controller?

yes, the only difference is the elite has stainless steel material and 3 different Dpads to choose from.

That's awesome. I got the Titanfall controller as a gift but that blue camo one is sick.
Anyone know when we'll start seeing some full reviews pop up? I've been seeing a lot of Steam Controller stuff this week and it's getting me excited.

This or something that says "yeah, it's $150, don't like it then GTFO". You know whatever we call it you will have the non-xbox owners flooding in on how it is not worth, I would never spend that much, I will get it when it is under $60 etc. etc...

Did you change the letters on the buttons from XY/AB to GT/FO?
It's not weird at all. this is going to essentially make every shooter that much more fun. people don't understand, having more optimal control over your movement increases your enjoyment of various games, especially shooters.

there's not, but in the end what exactly are you looking for? It's an xbox controller with stainless steel parts, trigger stops, paddles, 3 different Dpads and a customization app with stick sensitivity curves.
the only negative impression from a reviewer could be how the paddles sit within his/her particular hands, may not fit someone right but with Scuff going to offer different shape and size paddles that problem can be addressed.
