XB1 Elite Controller ($150)

Estimated arrival date for me is Nov 2-10.....I'll be on vacation. Thanks Amazon, I'd be frustrated but thankfully looks like they are honoring the $89.99 price so no big deal.
 
Got my shipping confirmation from Gamestop UK with the price of £99.97

Hopefully it turns up tomorrow seeing I am only a few hours from the shipping centre if not monday all being well.

Also got my dispatch confirmation for Halo 5.

Patiently waiting for the deliveries now....is it like christmas for anyone else waiting for santa?

Nice! I cancelled a Gamestop order at that price with Amazon honouring the £75 one.

I would be jealous if yours turned up tomorrow though. Haha.
 
Mine has been scheduled to ship today for weeks and arrive on release. Still sitting in Not yet shipped.

5 minutes after it was available. By this time last week, I already had a tracking number for my Halo 5 LCE from them. Nada on the controller yet. Worried-face.


Edit: Correction, I got my ship notification on Saturday, game arrived Tuesday. I won't panic yet.
 
Man this thing is 169.99 in Canada... I will def need to try and leverage one of my hook ups i want to get my hand on this marvelously crafted peripheral but that retail price is STEEP!
 
So I got a question... I perordered the controller through amazon. I don't have the money on the card I have the payment set to. And I can't add the cash to my bank. Should I get a amazon gift card for the amount or get a visa gift card. I just don't want to miss out and I'm at work right now so I am trying to type this real quick between deliveries lol. I know changing payment methods can be tricky and specially with it being $156.

easiest would be amazon gift card, apply it to the account and take it off the order so total comes to 0.00 and the empty credit card wont even be charged
 
Got mine preordered locally for the CAD price of $169.99. Wallet am cry, but my body is ready for some sweet sweet Halo 5 + elite controller action.

Ok thank you so much for the info. Would the option come up when I change the payment method to use amazon credit after i appy the gift card to my account?

for amazon uk at least if you go to the order details page, there is a button to apply any gift balance you have to said order. if you apply enough to cover the order total becomes 0.00
 
Right. Same for U.S. Just use the "Apply gift card balance" option on the order.

Whatever you do, don't actually change the payment method. It can reset your place in the queue, which would bump you into the next shipping wave.

It has the same bumper style as the Lunar White.

It's not as click as the Day One, and it has the adjusted design of the newer controllers.
 
I see the option for the controller for adjusting stick sensitivities using the app, but the real question is whether we can adjust the stiffness of the sticks physically on the controller itself. The too-twitchy sticks on the current Xbox One controller are REALLY off-putting for me and many others - prefer the stiffness of the Xbox 360 sticks.

Anyone who has tried the Elite controller - have they resolved this concern? Or is there a way to make the sticks physically more stiff?

There is no physical way to restrict the stiffness. That would mechanically be a bit of a challenge, especially with the sticks being pop on/off.

Not sure if the sticks are more/less resistive V the stock Xbox One controllers though.

Best Buy order status says it's being prepared. I think I get free expedited shipping 'cause of the Reward Zone thing, but I wish I had put down a few extra dollars to get it sooner.
 
I'll be kind of pissed if Amazon doesn't ship today. At the moment, it doesn't look like my wireless adapter is having much movement to ship today.

After my steam controller/link mishap, I can't take another fuck up.

Why don't they just ship these things a bit early to guarantee you get it on or before the date you're supposed to get it?
 
I wouldn't expect Amazon to ship today.

I drunk order from Amazon on Saturday nights regularly, and I often don't get shipment confirmation until Monday, but I've never had any of it not get there by Tuesday.
 
My preorders almost always ship on Monday and get to me on Tuesday. I think I might live close to a warehouse, though.

If it's late, just contact customer service and act upset. They usually give me some credit on my next order or refund shipping costs (4 dollars, lol) if I paid for shipping and it wasn't a preorder.

I preordered an arcade stick a while ago and I wasn't even mad it was getting delayed, I just asked them a couple times if they knew when I'd be getting it and they took off 20 percent (30 dollars) from my order. I don't even think it was their fault. I think it was some snafu from Hori.
 
Im not seeing a button on the order details page and I added money to the account. It will let me change the card but not to add money from the balance.
 
Just bought one off of Best Buy Canada. I'm actually looking forward to using it more for Titanfall :) than Halo 5. Next week is going to be a blast!

How are the Titanfall pops right now? I've heard they are almost nonexistant, so I haven't went back to it in a while.
 
I'm so glad that there's a case so that I can keep the controller in there most of the time. I'll likely only use it sparingly.

I'm also happy that the pieces are merely magnetized and easy to pull off, because I'm very non-technical and a klutz.
 
Got 2 pre-ordered both regular controllers have thumbsticks that drift upwards for no reason. Hopefully these expensive ones dont. Only seems to happen after these updates.
 
No point in getting one until MS gets the bugs out of the PC wireless controller. Apparently rumble doesn't work yet.
