So the monthly Xbox Rewards survey is up and there is an interesting piece mentioned. When asked what gamers' opinion stands on the following new features, one feature states: "Play PC games on Xbox One with enhanced with graphics and dashboard". What could this mean, games like Solitaire or other basic games or full PC stream support or something else?
It could be about the reverse of the current streaming of XB1 games to PC. This could be just a streaming solution, and Phil Spencer has mentioned in the past that they were looking into it (although it's not as simple as the XB1 to PC implementation due to the various control inputs needed):

It could also mean playing PC games natively (in some form) on the XB1...and that possibility (while far, far less likely) excites me greatly. Now that the XB1 is (on the back end of things) essentially a Windows 10 machine, I've been hoping they'd open it up a bit more. I would love to basically see it become more PC-like, and less like a console.
Ultimately, this could lead to the day of a steam-machines type situation for "Xbox consoles" - where they are basically just streamlined Windows 10 boxes (with multiple configurations, such as low, medium, high) designed to play games. And possibly from many storefronts, such as Steam, W10/Xbox store, or maybe even PlayStation - if they ever go the "services" route). This is all conjecture and "pipedreaming" on my end, and I think it's very unlikely to happen - but I would love for that direction to happen with Xbox gaming.
This survey is very likely talking just about basic PC to XB1 streaming. I don't get the part about "enhanced graphics" though...that's interesting. Could just be marketspeak for overlaying XB1 interface.
Just referring to an overlay like Steam, most likely. Not better graphics.
Yea, I realized that after I typed out my response. I edited my response.
