The first one is really good, haven't played the others since they're not translated.

SC is "second chapter." It's the second game. The one that's in English on PSP is FC/First Chapter.

There were HD Remasters of the PSP games that were released on PS3 though recently.

The games already exist on PC. They were originally PC games before they were ever ported to PSP. And Steam is the most likely target for this release, easily.
I also think that it is a great idea to re-release FC for PC, to build the userbase. They really should do that.

Yes. SC takes place immediately after the first one.

I haven't played it myself, but apparently it is. It's the same system, but everything executes quicker. FC on PC is meant to be a little faster than the PSP version too.

I mean, 3rd should be released on the same platform as FC/SC if they do it, but Zero/Ao can be on another platform, because they start a new story arc. That said, Zero has a PC version and Ao will have one soon.

3rd builds and fleshes out a ton of things, but it isn't 100% necessary. SC ends an arc. That said, 3rd is my favorite game and it has so many great story moments, so I sure hope they release it someday.

From what I've heard, the third game is more of a side-story with some of the same characters. Very different situation than the second game (which is a direct continuation to the cliffhanger ending of the first game).
