XSEED Teases 2015 Releases With New Years Image

Okay, I tried to remove the question mark there. Doesn't looks like a leg with upper part being too big.

Could it be a weapon? Like a giant club or bat?

Can someone compare that Metal Max game with the motorcicle girl ?
Hey wait a minute...XSEED could probably get Metal Max its big break over here. Metal Saga didn't fare too well, but I think a market's available now for open-ended JRPGs. Market it as Dragon Quest's wasteland brother series (Crea-Tech was founded by one of the DQ developers) and voila!

So it looks like it could be either a rather muscular and rigid upper body, or somebody wearing loose pants and kneehigh boots.

I'm thinking it's the former, the two sides look too different for it to be legs, but it could be an odd angle or an outfit that's not symmetrical.

Or drawn badly.

going off of the assumption of SK, i'm pretty sure nobody uses a weapon like that, i was thinking it might be Shiki's scythe but it's too wide for that

EDIT 2: While I am at it, how good is Xanadu Next? I have heard people being happy about getting a localization, but is it really a good game?

Yes, it is a great game. It's hard to describe the gameplay, but it is basically a cross between Diablo 1 (the combat, not the loot system) and the Ys OiF style combat. Which game it is more like depends on whether or not you play with mouse/keyboard or a gamepad though.

I'm suddenly thinking it's a weapon now. If you notice on the top of the blown up image, you'll see some orange up there.

Doesn't look like it can be legs or arms if there's 'space' up there.

I really hope the version of Onechanbara they're localizing is not the one for PS3, despite the silhouette. That game isn't as fun to play as Z2: Chaos and is missing a lot of content. It's pretty obvious that Z2: Chaos is the "completed" version of the first game after playing it.

I'll still support it, but I wouldn't lie if I said I was disappointed if that was the case.

However if they release it on Steam, I'll forgive EVERYTHING.

That sounds cool. I will follow this game, then.

Nope, I think I didn't crop the image well. The orange line on top is the leftover from bad cropping.

I liked Z2 Chaos, and it was pretty simple to play in Japanese aside from not knowing what some of the skills and stuff were.

Impossible. Corpse Party Blood Drive got trademarked. Why would it get trademarked now only to not come in 2015. Its lies I tell you.

XSeed pls. ;_;

That's not all they have planned for 2015.

As great as it'd be to see Nayuta get some localisation love considering how good it is, it's probably best to give up on that dream. Brandish works out for them despite being PSP only 'cause it took barely any resources at all to work on, but Nayuta's script is hefty enough that they'd have to pour some decent money into it, with probably very little return.

A real shame, but let's hope Falcom remedies the issue with a good port soon enough.

The fan translation of Nayuta is apparently making steady progress, so at least there's that. I don't really feel like Falcom plans to touch Nayuta again. Seems like it was an experiment they are no longer interested in to pursue furrther.

Would be awesome if XSEED could buy that translation, but yeah Falcom would still need to help program it... Would be a neat thought.

If those are XSEED's Q1/Q2 games I'll be very sad, I really want to play Senran Kagura 2 asap. And Blood Drive and Bakumatsu Rock.

And I hope this busy schedule wouldn't prevent them bringing Luminous Arc Infinity. It's very hard to find a good quality SRPG these days and something like LA shouldn't be missed. First two games were amazing.

Oh good, we're talking about future XSEED 2015 titles. Finally.

Anyway, excited when Blood Drive (even though it's not one of the silhouettes but the domain is registered) gets officially announced. I do hope some fixes come with the game being localized.

You realize Zero comes before Ao, right? Ao is basically Zero no Kiseki 2.

I've seen a lot of people assuming Ao is the first of those two titles lately, for some reason.

Someone tell me a nice story please, all about how this last shadow is of a game I'd totally want to play. Start at the beginning and don't skip any pages.

All I know now is that Xanadu Next, Sen no Kiseki and SC are all most likely coming. More Falcom is always good. BRING THEM ALL.

I know it is. I still have to buy Zero. I want the original version, and not the "PSP the Best" version, since the original is out of print on Play Asia. =( I might get it on Amazon. But I'm being really silly, so I'll most likely bite the bullet. They're the same damn game.

I'm still thinking Senran Kagura and Bullet Girls are top possibilities.

And super hype for Oneechamabara.

don't see the need for bullet girls when they have SK already. Different genres and everything but still fills that same niche i feel i.e cute girls fighting each other
