It's refreshing seeing some Tifa fan-art that isn't just two giant circles doing a clumsy martial arts pose.

I've seen far too many potentially good drawings ruined by the artist trying to convey hentai levels of anatomy, no doubt because a big part of the fanbase insists that's "canon".

I still continue to worry about her Remake design.

Ha ha! Ok, yeah that's definitely him. The others are great too. I can't really place the style your wife's art reminds me of, but it's really good and suits the characters well. I'm thinking early Street Fighter era Capcom is an inspiration? Not sure, but awesome work all the same.

She definitely takes a lot of inspiration from Capcom artists so she thought it was cool that you recognized that as one of her influences.

Wish the FF7 remake went this direction with their art style. :/

Man these are really incredible. Especially because there is SO little detail on the original models, but she perfectly captured how I imagine pretty much all the NPCs to actually look! Really fun pictures.
