As for XBone, I will take a wait-and-see approach. With all the stuff I'm interested in, there's no way I can drop $500 on another game system and whole 'nother paywall. Besides, the only thing XBone has that I'm really interested in is Forza anyways. I can see myself getting an XBone well after release, maybe a few years down the line when prices drop, the system is refreshed, and other things pan out etc etc.

Just a PS4 with no games at the moment, which I'm still not 100% on purchasing just yet. Basically pre-ordered early after the E3 megaton conference to ensure I would have one if I went ahead with the purchase.

Essentially hanging onto impressions of games and the system in the lead into the 29/11 launch here to see if I stick to my pre-order. No point in buying the console and denying someone else who may want it more the chance to have one if I feel it won't be used early on.

No current plans for Xbox One though I expect I'll pick one up eventually when the price drops/Kinect is removed.

Based on historical console launches and bugs/fail rates, I'm sticking with my PC for the time being. I've been on Steam for three years now and it remains the nirvana of gaming.

I may drop some cash to upgrade my graphics card or slap an SSD in my system, but only when my 560ti can no longer handle the newest releases at 1080p. I don't play everything on ultra with all the bells and whistles, so it hasn't been an issue yet, but I can see some of these newer games killing my framerate.

It's not just a few dollars off. People really don't pay attention. First off, you guys do know that every October, there is a B2G1 on all games sale right? It's like clockwork. If you don't, then it really shows you don't pay attention to sales. That's ok, not everyone does, but if you do, sales become predictable.

Vita had B2G1, 3DS had B1G1@50%, PSP had B2G1, and Wii U had B1G1@40% at one place, but also had B2G1 either somewhere at launch or really shortly after. So that's minimum 20% off all games, and as high as 33% off all games. It's not worth preordering because of this.

Also, look at what happened with Disney Infinity that just launched last Sunday. You could find practically everything for 50% off and the game for 20% off. The game in its own way is its own platform and everything was extremely cheap right off the bat.

There will be sales on launch day as everyone is competing against each other to bring you in and the sales will likely be as low as B1G1@40% off and at best B2G1 which equates to 20 to 33% off per game. If you don't believe it, then just look at the last four systems that launched which all had sales on day 1. I don't think there's any reason to doubt there will be sales on PS4 and Xbox One games at launch.
