Wii U its games for sale like that before it even launched? I can understand the Vita as it had been out for a while and was doing horribly, so putting games on sale makes sense, and 3DS has also been out for a while. But I had no idea they'd do that with brand new systems.

I'll keep an eye out anyway.

All of those sales were on day 1 at launch of their respective systems.

Just the ps4 itself, no need to preorder the games at least right now. Will look out for some deal for the controllers, maybe there will be some small bundles like get a game and controller for 10 bucks off or something.

PS4 day one edition from Amazon. Nothing else pre-ordered, though I'll probably pick up Watch_Dogs for it on launch day. Maybe COD: Ghosts? Haven't played a COD game since Blops 1 and I'm itching to play a retail FPS on the DualShock 4.
 
I ordered and fully paid for GTAV on PS3.

That's it for now. I cancelled my Xbone order about a month ago. I was going to get that and it's exclusives as well, but instead decided to wait for Titanfall release. The PS4 will get my multiplatform releases this gen. Xbone for exclusives only.
 
What is the justification for pre-ordering some of these games?

Some of these are so far out from release and we know next to nothing about them. Halo for example, we have seen one teaser shot of that game, that is it.

Do you not have to put money down for these pre-orders? Or is it free until a later date.

Amazon only charges you when they ship.

Still, Halo's one of my favorite franchises.

99% sure I won't be getting the XB1 preorder unless something awesome comes up between now and launch.

My girlfriend will be paying for the PS4 for my birthday :D
 
Just pre-ordered the PS4 for the minute. Hoping to live off PSN+ with Resogun and Driveclub for the time being. Saving for a house deposit hasn't helped my cause.

I liked the preorder bonus stuff for BF4. The rest of the games I'll be doing digitally, or through any deals (fingers crossed for a B2G1 like mentioned above). Though I did just preorder Watch Dogs for PS4. I might not be keeping the PS4 either. Finances are tight :(
