No games. I will buy them when I go to pick up the console or order them on amazon if I get some money back.

Will probably pick up Watch_Dogs and Killzone. Unless I decide to get Watch_Dogs on PC.

I've not decided on Battlefield or COD yet. I will not play an ounce of single player so it is all about the multiplayer experience for me. This purchase will be on XB1

Need for Speed Rivals, Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed 4. Either PC or XB1. Depends on 60fps or not. I'm leaning XB1 though just because of controller but I'm not accepting a 30fps racer when I don't have to.

Peggle 2 is a must download and buy.
Killer Instinct is a must download and buy
Crimson Dragon is a must download and buy.

HOLY SHIT MAN. You going IN

Genuinely curious about this:

Why do people pre-order games so early? Especially when so many do pre-order bonuses, and some of those bonus items end up being announced really close to the release date.

I guess my thinking is it doesn't really matter how late you pre-order, a pre-order is a pre-order. So if there's a CHANCE that something gets locked away from the game through a specific retailer, why the heck wouldn't you wait?

Is there really some benefit I'm missing here to pre-ordering games ridiculously early?

I have pre-ordered and paid in amazon credit my PS4 Launch Edition.

Have a $25 Deposit on PS4 at local best buy Since E3, I have always been able to get a console at launch at best buy and i feel this will be no different but i still put the $25 Down.

One is a gift for my brother and have over $400 in store credit at local game store for games and controllers, mostly games.

Xbox One pre-ordered via Amazon also for day one.

That's what I love to see most people pre-ordering a PS4 are opting to get Killzone. Music to my ears. Hopefully this will be the breakout hit that elevates the franchise to Halo levels of popularity.

PS4
Killzone: Shadow Fall

Preordered the system from two places to improve my odds, but it's still uncertain if I get it at launch. If both of them arrive at launch, I'll cancel the other, so someone else can have it without going to scalpers. Fuck the scalpers. Making a bad situation even worse.

consoles:

playstation 4
xbox one

games:

drive club
sonic: lost world (3ds)
the legend of zelda: a link between worlds
yoshi's new island
pokemon y

Absolutely no benefit. People are going to end up paying more than the various sales that will take place on day 1 of launch. It's foolish to preorder at full price.

2 ps4's

knack

killzone

battlefield 4

extra duelshock 4

ps4 eye

Dualshock 4 Dual Charging Station

watchdogs

infamous second son

No games preordered as I don't really see the point. Extra controllers can typically be hard to find during the launch period so I figured I might as well grab one.

PS4 - Amazon
PS4 - Gamestop
Xbox One - Amazon
Madden 25 - 360
Madden 25 - PS4
NBA2K14 - PS4
Killzone SF
Forza 5
Dead Rising 3
Call of Duty Ghosts - X1
Ryse

Will pick up KI and Crimson Dragon for X1 as well

Still deciding what next gen system I want to get Watch Dogs and maybe ACIV on

Out of sight, out of mind for me. Just need knowledge on a few more games as far as game platform to pick and I'm good. Just give me a price and/or date and I'll preorder it. I know that I'm basically using Gamestop as a bank, however, peace of mind forces me to do this all of the time. It gives me time to plan for the other things that I want to buy. I plan to get the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Samsung's 12 inch tablet this year. Get my gaming stuff out of the way, on to the next one.

Anyone else feeling a bit guilty about using a Day One controller? Part of me wants to keep it fresh, part of me thinks the DAY ONE 2013 is corny

DAY ONE
Watch_Dogs

Maybe AC:FB, DR3

PS4:

+ System
+ Killzone: Shadow Fall
+ Drive Club
+ Watch Dogs
(and maybe Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag if reviews are good)

Xbox One:

+ Console
+ Forza Motorsport 5
+ Call of Duty: Ghosts
+ FIFA 14 (missed out on having it included for free, cest la vie etc)

Now to determine whether to pick up Battlefield 4 on PS4 or Xbox One.
