I'm pretty dissappointed in Dani. It's one thing to go out asking for clown porn but to get banned while defending Nintendo is lame.

I love my Wii and can't wait till Bungie announces Flight Party for the Nintendo Wii

I doubt there's another level but there is one mystery left surrounding the Mythic maps; the skulls.

Check out how huge the sky bubble is though:

I'm not sure if we can directly size up the grid against the ground but if the scale is right it looks like the diameter of the grid is three times as large as the flat expanse below...

I wonder where the skulls are hidden on the other two maps. The most exciting part of the MMP might not be any new (cool) reveal about Sandbox, but how they implement the skulls into multiplayer maps. It'll be fun to find out.

I really don't understand how the various shots of Orbital we've seen will go together, it's the only map that I don't really have a feel for.

So after some wrestling around with my desktop, I got my video capturing hardware working again. Turns out enabling sharing with WMP11 = PC overheating...who knew?

I'll try to set up a HaloGAF awesomeness video/top ten. You're going to have to be a friend of 'GAF Halo 3'. If you want in and there isn't room PM through Live or on GAF.

Please don't submit videos yet...I'll send a message through Xbox Live in about a week or so.

I really fucking hate CTF but when your teammate takes the flag to the WRONG fucking base. God damn that's frustrating.

And these two achievements (oddball and splatter spree) are killing me. Can't get a match on Avalanche (Social DLC) to save my life and I can't get an oddball game in Doubles :-/

I've actually had to TK a teammate one time to cap the flag myself because he apparently didn't know the flag spawn point and the flag cap point on Avalanche are two separate entities.

to make awesome Sandbox maps for the rest of us to enjoy when it's time.

Is there anywhere I can watch the content on the dvd/video disc that was included in the Legendary package of Halo 3? I'v watched the "essentials" on the LE version; but want to check out the Legendary content. I checked the op but I can't find this anywhere on the intrawebs.

Funny thing is that they pull you through the process and it almost feels like you're about to queue up the download and then FAIL. As soon as this pack drops, I'm calling in sick for two days straight.

I really love the new Bungie design. The format of the news page especially looks good. The pulldown menus seem a bit slower than the older one, although I could just be imagining things.

Disembodied Soul... :lol

The maps look really colorful. I want to see how they look with Juicy.

Question: with the default objects consuming part of the budget of the map, and the soft ceiling preventing Monitors from flying to the top, is it possible to use 100% of the budget on the sky bubble?

My understanding of the budget is that the default pieces count against the total budget whether they are there or not. So that would mean there's no benefit to deleting the stuff down below if I want to build an entire map in the sky bubble, right?

sorry I didn't respond to your invite backflip : ( played with 2 of my teamates against some pros in matchmaking today. shit was not pretty. we played against Naded, LegendJRG and Defy. We got our shit pushed in pretty damn hard. got a few games in with my complete team, won some, just lost to HS Lightking. shit is crazy out there hahaha
