They won't be.
That wasn't even close to uncompressed footage. It was much higher bitrate however which is the most you can ever expect.
We're too close to release. Any "downgrade" already happened. There are too many obvious flaws of real-time rendering here for this to be bull. If anything it'll look slightly better as they optimize stuff in this final stretch (clean up AA or shadow filtering, stuff like that).

That was neither uncompressed nor close to lossless.
They should totally upload Apple ProRes 4444 trailers to filesharing and torrent sites though.
Not one Sony first party game has been downgraded this gen so far so I'd say slim to none. Also, the game is pretty much done.
Can you give examples? Because I think the consistency is the best part of its visuals.

The Order looks good, but you can see that ND operates on another level, just by looking at a 2 minute trailer.

I'd rather have a colourful cartoony style very detailed game like Uncharted 4 than a colourless dark very realistic game like The Order 1886. Though I love The Order.

That looked very good. The only part that was cringe worthy was the scene where Drake looked like he was doing a fist pound onto a NPC from very high above. But outside of that it looked really good. We need real gameplay though to really see this baby in all of it's glory.

Another boat shot. The dithering at the edges of Nate and Sam's hair is noticeable, but Nate's doesn't really grab your attention while in motion.
