Swapnote would be awesome if there was something like a mailing list feature that works indepndently from friend codes (like I wouldn't need to have everyone in the mailing list in order to receive and send letters).

I love your stick figure stories :D. The figures have so much character to them.

Reading that particular one felt rather surreal on a Nintendo device.....but in a good way :).

I had to re-download everything on my SD card today meaning my saves for everything are gone :'(
This means that on this I can't use stationary or even the 3D pen!
Soooo..... I spammed some of my new friends with a bunch of my old notes, sorry about that.

keep creating notes to share and eventually you will start unlocking features such as using stationery, 3D, sound, pics, extra ink, color and video.


there is no extra ink, color or video.

I was assuming we got Nikki's Mii via the Valentine's Day SpotPass message, but I realized that neither Reggie nor Aonuma appeared in my Plaza...

Did anyone get a Mii for Reggie or Aonuma? I'm assuming not, which means that SwapNote isn't automatically adding Miis from all "special messages", like I was first assuming it was. Now I'm curious as to whether SwapNote can "optionally" add a Mii to the plaza... I don't think Nikki was sent directly to the Plaza, as the Japanese arrivals have been acting like StreetPasses. Nikki is an "invitation" character...

I didn't get Nikki's Mii in my Plaza. I'm wondering if maybe you have to play Mario Kart or another game that pulls random Miis from your system, and that can pull it from SwapNote and then add it to your Plaza. If that's the case it still seems like we should've heard about people getting the other SwapNote Miis though.

Has anyone pointed out yet that you can draw with two, three, four or more points on the screen?

If you put more than one point on the screen the cursor will appear precisely in the middle of those two points. You can continue to move one of the two points for more precise drawing without the stylus being in the way. You can even move both at the same time and the cursor will always stay in the middle. This apparently works with 3, 4 all the way up to ten different points.

What exactly does this mean about the 3DS's touch screen? I thought it only read one point at a time and ignored any other contacts made while the first point is still active.

You can also draw straight lines using this technique by putting one contact down where you want the line to start and place the second contact where you want the line to end. The cursor will draw half of the straight line. At that point let go of the first contact point and the cursor will draw the rest of the line. It is much easier to create geometric shapes that rely on triangles this way.

I didn't expect this program to be so much fun. I can't wait for Colors 3D.

Make sure you pm anyone who you add to your friends list and give them your friend number that way. This is the only way to insure that they will see it.

I currently have Nikki as they gave her out using a QR code. She's the japanese one though
and I'm not sure that she has a version in other countries. At the moment it seems as of that's
the only way to get Special Mii's that then you yourself could use. Of course this could change
or I don't know what in the world I'm talking about.
