This is the only Tekken I haven't bought. I probably will down the line but its so odd how I'm not interested like I used to be, I was a Tekken fanatic.
I feel you, kind of. I followed Tekken 7's unprecedentedly long arcade release closely, but I grew skeptical of the game as the console release drew near. In the end, I was disappointed with the final package, and chose not to buy it, which really sucked after waiting all that time. I'm still holding off until the content is up to snuff and I can get a version that has the season pass included, but I find myself tempted whenever the vanilla game goes on sale. When I read of the game doing well, I have mixed feelings. I love the series and I want it to thrive, of course, but I come into conflict with a lot of the decisions they made with Tekken 7, so for
this game to be the one that sells well worries me that they might double down on those decisions in the future, reinforced by financial success.
