EA take their first No1 crown of the year with ‘Battlefield Hardline’ becoming the biggest All Formats No1 of 2015 so far.

Developed by Visceral Games & DICE the series moves into new territory taking on a cops and robbers approach. Despite strong sales driven by retailer promotions ‘Disney Infinity 2.0’ (+36%) settles just outside the Top 10 at No11. The arrival of a new market wide Xbox One hard bundle also sees ‘Halo: The Masterchief Collection’ (+80%) propelled 14 places to No13.

Good debut for MP10, starts even better than MP9 on the Wii.
I was expecting more from RE Revelations 2, considering how the Western sales were seen as major decision factor in the transition from 3DS to home consoles.

Good week for new releases, and looks like a decent start for Hardline and Type-0. Disappointed though not suprised that revelations 2 didn't hit top 10, being available digital for so long.

Bloodborne next week should be interesting.

It's a shame we won't find out until Capcoms earnings report. I doubt we'll see it in the NPDs either since I think it will be very heavily digitally skewed.

Wii U game charting in the top five is somewhat impressive, even taking the extremely slow time of year into account.

Probably the only top five charting game Nintendo will see all year.

Yeah that is a bit of an odd one, I guess there may only be a few hundred sales between the versions but you would think the % difference would show.

Edit: Eurogamer updated their page, was a mistake 3% for PS3

Without knowing actual sales numbers, I'm not sure you can actually say it started better.

Daym and if people needed more proof that PS owners are more receptive to Japanese games, this pretty much cements it. Would have thought REV 2 would have done a little better on X1 though.

If we are skipping the fact that 1886 is a month old only game compared to FH2, yeah :p

Also, new update coming in a week so i'm expecting it to climb up again next week :3

Bruno has clarified, but it could easily have been rounding. It sold more than 83,214 so 5.5% of that would be 4,577 and 6.49% of that would be 5,401

Hardline sales seem to show Xbox One is keeping a good share of the shooter crowd in the UK, but it looks like they are losing out badly in other titles.

Why is Forza being compared with The Order? Wouldn't Driveclub be a better comparison since they're both racing games that came out around the same time? Not sure what The Order has to do with Horizon 2.

To be fair look at all the other titles The Order is still outselling. Majora's Mask for instance, then Evolve and Residents Evil.

Forza got a price cut and that it is an older that outselling a newer one.

It's a bit of fun seeing as TOP was comparing them last both week although completely unrelatable.

Thats impressive - maybe offering these type of games for cheaper is the right call from now on. Its 40€ in europe, same as Captain Toad is and Kirby will be.

There we go, was interested in that split of FF Type-O, but holy crap at Resi Evil what were the sales split like in previous games in the series between PS3 and 360, feels like that's a regression from what MS built, which is the story of the Xbox One since day one tbh.

This heightens my intrigue in the next Tomb Raider now.

I agree. I think the lower price combined with its own line of Amiibos has probably helped too. Those things do appear to be the new crack.

I didn't, but seeing the positions and the numbers for other higher position, I'm not sure that this episode debuted better, despite being on 4 platforms (and the costs to port it shoule be taken into account).
Looking also at Japanese preorders, it seems that the move could not pay off.
Unlesse (and it coud easily be) its digital sales are very strong

Not a fan of Type 0 doing so well tbh, but then I've always thought how they handled it's western release has been incredibly shitty and not something I'd be eager to see rewarded.

Surprised to see PS4 software crushing XB1 software more brutally than normal this week all the same.
