I don't listen to any of these artists but I'll be buying DJ Hero 2 for sure. It was the same case with the first DJ Hero, no idea why I can't get into this music outside of the game.

The gameplay is awesome and far more interesting than Beatmania IMO. If I want to play a Bemani style game, I'd go with Pop'N instead of Beatmania.

When I read the thread title, the first thing I thought was "I wonder if there is any Wu-Tang..." and sure enough, the fucking RZA is listed.
Very nice, I would buy this just for the chance to play a Wu track. The addition of Mos Def is exciting as well, I still haven't played DJ Hero 1 though...
Maybe I'll play the original one this summer and upgrade to 2 if I enjoy it.

id like some of those too, but the first part of this statement is factually incorrect. lot of real talent there, and good hip-hop gets absolutely ignored on most of the music games...i can see people feeling that way about house/techno too, but doesnt this one have Shadow, RZA and others DJing? i mean, fuck, you've got Daft Punk and some other quality on there, be happy!:D

Good stuff. If it wasn't so damn expensive to get the game and the doohicky with it I would day one this shit.
So is the DJ Hero 1 controller compatible with the 2nd game? If so, I will probably give it a try. The Wii version including the controller is only $50 new...
