Sounds good. I love the picture quality on my Nexus 4.

Nexus 4 screen contrast is really nice. Except for in total darkness by my bed the blacks are pretty much pitch black. I find IPS to be a bit over rated because they tend to have a worse contrast ratio.

Such a shame that Europe and probably the US as well won't be getting the colors. I don't know why people are so boring here and only choosing black/grey/white smartphones/tablets/cars... Guess I'll have to import my Vita 2000 :(
Yeah I guess, I think for us Aussies an entry price of $199 seems absurdly low. Haha. Already easily in impulse-buy territory.
Compared to other hobbies it's really cheap. Even gaming wise it's just four new games...

It doesn't have all the DLC guys....

As an added bonus, Borderlands 2 for PS Vita includes six downloadable content (DLC) packs: Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty, Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage, Psycho Character Class, Mechromancer Character Class, Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1 and the Collector’s Edition Pack.

Decent deal with the game and the 8 gig card. I'll be holding out for this and keeping out an eye for OLED fire sales in the meantime. Shame we'll never get any of the nice colors that Japan got.

I'm starting the #Vita2000FullRainbowForNorthAmericaPleaseSeriouslySonyCmon to convince Sony to release all the various Vita 2000 colors in North America. Please tweet this thousands of times a day. Thank you.

$199.99 isn't bad for the system, an 8GB card, and a game that will no doubt retail for $30-$40.

Ideally, they'll do a few of these bundles, not just the Borderlands 2 one.

I haven't played BL2, however I already own a Vita. It's tempting to buy a second one, though, but I'm getting a 3DS more than likely this weekend, and an extra Vita, while awesome, won't really do much for me.

I think this is a pretty great starter package regardless. Bolster it with PS+, and manage space on the 8GB until you can grab a larger memory card. I had an 8GB card for about 6 months until I upgraded to a 32GB.

I rather get the 1000 and pay for a shitty-priced memory card than wait to get an inferior revision for $200 + a 2012 game.

That's what I did. It isn't really an inferior revision due to more responsive top buttons and lighter weight but I prefer the OLED screen and all of its little quirks over the LCD on the 2000. Both are solid versions and I hope this gets more people on the VITA bandwagon.

So, how many hours can you sink into this? Hundreds? Also, I wonder if the Vita version will have online play... may finally get a chance to use Party Chat!

only the screen is inferior and only in some ways. The ergonomics, weight, and battery are all superior

How long has it been confirmed that this BL2 port was actually in the works, it hasn't been that long has it? And this will be out in spring? Dunno if that bodes well or badly for it. Either way the bundle looks like a great deal, can't wait.

I DO NOT understand why they are doing black only, is it because retailers don't want to have a lot of SKUs?

The black Vitas are beautiful but why manufacture all those glorious colored models to have them constrained to Japan? I want the white and blue one! I know how you feel. If I were in charge at Sony and retailers didn't want multiple SKUs I would just sell the other models from the Sony store.

I tweeted @Playstation to let them know I wanted the other Vita slim models. It might not mean anything but if they pay attention to their fans perhaps it will catch someone's eye in management.

I'm disappointed that the Vita 2000 is being delayed for a game I have zero interest (because it'll likely look and run like garbage), but at least the price wasn't jacked up.

I'm kind of wondering if the game + DLC can fit on a card. I guess we'll find out when we see the size of the download, and whether or not the retail release includes the DLC.

I would wager that the DLC is a download token in even the retail version of the game.

Well for me the 2000's advantages are not enought to outweight the OLED on the 1000.
So yeah, I'm getting it in two weeks hopefully.
