Who wants to get me this for raisins?

I've managed to avoid spoilers, my copy is pre-ordered, and I've finished my first run of DS.

Let's do this, GAF.

Well better late than never. Can't believe I've manage to not catch a single spoiler. Fingers crossed that doesn't fuck up now in the next week. Still going to tippy toe around any and all info.

Hahaha oh no Nito, I'm not clicking that. I'm not even going to quote you.

I'd be mortified if I found out your main character dies :p

it doesnt help that DS1 was my favorite game from the last generation

I'm so glad the game runs glorious on my PC, because it's at least six years old. No matter though, steady 60 fps and all settings on highest.

(Based on early review code btw)

Namco/From Software should pimp me out for the sexy OTs :,(

So now that the console versions have been out for a bit, what was the verdict on the preorder dlc items?
Better than expected IIRC.

im actually wondering that myself. good enough for early play or not even that? or maybe even better, like dragon tail sword level from DS1 hopefully not)?

Spoiler tagging just in case.
They are powerful but cant use them straight away as the requirements are higher than the starting stats.

Well, only one class start with a shield so DLC shield give you a little advantage over people who didnt preordered it.

Are the pre-order weapons supposed to be findable in game? I remember hearing that they were hidden in the game somewhere for non-preorders, but I never ended up finding them.

Nice OT. Kind of excited, having played DaSo1 on PS3 at day one, and I was also an early importer of a non-Eng DeSo, this wait for the PC release has been hard work.

Still, after reading Durante's article this morning it seems the wait will be well worth it (I also finally got around to unlocking my 6950 to a 6970 last night, so all my newfound shaders are ready
just need some downsampling-able drivers to be released...
)!

Man, I wasn't going to double dip, but Durante's article really has me tempted.

Great thread title by the way.

I'm a hundred hours in on PS3 and I still find myself using one of the shields on a regular basis.

Guys I'm excited. This has been my most anticipated game of all time and the weeks since the console release have been the most excruciating. When I sit there and begin to create my bearded character it will finally sink in.

Count me in the camp thats managed to avoid spoilers all over the place/ at least the temptation.

That being said, now i'm really on a deadline to get that lordvessel powered up and beat DS1.

Never play late at night though...Seath just made me lose 30k souls via stupid mistakes.

Don't skip the DLC, it's the best content in the game.

Debating whether I should try running this on my 2010 Macbook or wait till I get back home and play it on my 780Ti. Decisions.

Seriously. Mind blown.

If I remember correctly the actual channeler's themselves don't have eyes ( the things underneath the clothing) but the eyes are their so Seath the Scaleless can use them as ways of gaining vision of the area. That's how Seath was able to know you were coming the first time you met him, cause he saw in the undead parish.

I may actually buy this in a regular retail store, I love doing that from time to time. Will at least check for the CE I guess.

My PC handled DS1 about on par with my PS3, so I will be looking from afar at the PC master race with great jealousy this time. Enjoy the smooth and silky guys!
