This. How many times must the 3DS prove how Boss it is. How many times my I look at my 3DS and smile.

Maybe has to do with what the plot of the games were, which was making a new world as the two Pokemon in question control the land and the ocean?

That'd make sense I guess. I was hoping Hoenn Confirmed + New region or something. Did they use wording like this for FRLG or HGSS?

Can someone explain to me as an outsider of the Pokemon series (only played Blue and Red) as of why this news is exciting?

Is it me or it doesn't sound like a remake at all? More like a Black/White 2 situation.

Cool just got back into Pokemon with X and Y after not buying any since Yellow. Will be nice to check out remakes of the older games.

Put in new Endgame material and make a hard mode that i can choose from the start.

X/Y were only good in concept, world was lacking, endgame was shit and you could beat the strongest trainers pretty easily and there are no trainers with high lvl pokemans.

But I am hyped

I hope they add more content to these games, the original Ruby and Sapphire were really bare bones with almost nothing to do after the main game (which can be completed in like 8-12 hours).

Even so, I'm pretty excited and I can't wait to get to use the best grass starter again.

I am dying. Haven't been this excited about a game announcement since the Gold & Silver remake. This is going to be amazing.
