A new generation game came out last year. So will likely be a few years before Generation 7 :p

Emerald had a ton of content including postgame. Id say it was one of the richer pokemon games content wise. Hopefully the contests are still the same. Figured the game was in development and being released this year but im hyped anyway.

Nintedo earnings were bad.
this is how the deal with investors backlash. these two games are here to remind people Nintendo can still shit gold bricks.

Oh hell yes. Here's hoping they're as good as SoulSilver/HeartGold. I also pray that GameFreak gets the FPS sorted out this go around, I don't think I could bear ti endure another 15FPS "even in single battles" catastrophe again..

Please tell me that Game Freak have implemented 3D properly this time. No excuse not to with an extra year of working with the XY engine.

With every new release, they are going to mix some of the things up for meta isn't it?

And I only stay away from PokeGAF for less than 2 months.

So does anyone else think this is a financial thing? Not the games, I mean the timing of the announcement. It was just words and boxart, no footage, maybe this would've been announced later if the news was better but now it's a 'don't worry guys money coming soon' thing.

Also, another thought, I hope this isn't all they have for 3DS this year. Would be cool to see more games but they might expect pokemon to carry the whole holiday...

I'm excited for the games but not for the titles. Omega and Alpha? Come on Nintendo thats so lame.
Edit: I can't wait for EX Emerald to come out.
