Rime [PS4] If ICO and Wind Waker had a baby

Rime will be a good reason to own a PS4.

Sony has too much Ammo in 2014. Still haven't seen ALOT of Infamous. Still haven't seen alot of Driveclub. Everybody's gone to rapture, Galak-Z, Rime, The Witness is still a mystery, etc. Still don't know the release date to War Thunder US, Planetside 2, Final Fantasy XIV, DriveClub, or pretty much any other game in 2014 sans a couple.

Rime is looking incredible though. Great pic there. Wallpaper worthy.

No news on Order 1886, Uncharted or SSM new IP. Going to be an incredible E3 2014.

The similarities between this and ICO are.... A little too much for me.
I'm still interested but damn. That beach looks like it was ripped directly from the ICO ending.

I really didn't care much for Deadlight.

But this looks awesome.

Deadlight makes me very weary of this game. Because it too was a puzzle platformer with a nice art style, but the puzzles ended up being dumb as hell and it's story was as subtle as a brick to the forehead. It was failed potential.

I really didn't like the art style in Deadlight. I thought the game was uninspired all over, from top to bottom. I'm inclined to give these guys a second shot, though. After that, if this is no good, probably not again.

Is it strange that I see a strong Ni no Kuni vibe in the art side? Will keep an eye on it... it seems there's a bit of a resurgence of Spanish game studios.

Their description explaining the game's minimal use of UI and traditional storytelling methods:
A visual narrative that provokes profound emotion is never an easy challenge in game development. We approached this by forcing a minimalist style: if you take away language, NPC characters, UI and cinematic, you push away traditional storytelling methods and game mechanics to allow space for the player to feel what the story is about, and to experience a full and personal immersion.

So glad this game is getting more love, it looks so fantastic. I would kill for one of those T shirts, man. This is honestly one of the main reasons I'm buying a PS4
as well as holding out hope for The Last Guardian.

Great looking game and a perfect example on how games can be made to look completely different with modern engine. (UE4.)

Really hope we get some new info soon...
I wonder what percentage of Juniors do this? How can you be so cruel? There's a Playstation Mega-Thread RIGHT THERE. But, I knew there wouldn't be any news, we'll probably get an update at E3 maybe.
