If I popped into town I could probably come back with a copy but I'm waiting for Nintendo UK (The Fucking Hut) to dispatch my copy. Come on man, it's Wednesday! It needs to be here by Friday D:! Just do it. I usually get my games on the day if not a day earlier. Maybe my postman is super efficient. Either way it's useless if they don't even dispatch the thing :^/

Had confirmation email that my Wii U Mario Kart bundle has been dispatched, should be here by Friday (hopefully tomorrow). Excited!

My copy arrived today, just got 1st in all 150cc GPs :) Really enjoying it.

How do I unlock the remaining characters? Mirror Mode?

Each characters is unlocked randomly after winning a gp. gotta beat 6 more of mirror...or 50/100cc for the rest.

Fucking Nintendo Store. Still, that lovely Shell statue and T-Shirt will make the bad feelings all go away.

I'm still torn on which freebie to go with. It's between W101, Pikmin 3 or NSMBU. There doesn't seem to be much difference in price for those 3 (in the UK), and Ill end up owning all eventually, so which would you guys say has the most content? I'm trying to curb my game spending for the next couple of months.

Pikmin 3 probably has the most content, unless you like trying to perfect your score in a brawler like Wonderful 101. That'll keep you hooked for months trying to chase the top ranks.

Pikmin 3 is probably the best out of those three, although W101 is also good (you can get it for much cheaper than the other two games though). NSMBU is excellent but it's a pretty short game content wise compared to the other options, so I'd hold off on that. Pikmin 3 has an amazing single-player mode plus the missions (+cheap DLC) are also quite good. If you have another person to play with the bingo battle mode is also a blast, imo.

W101 was my favorite game last year with TLOU. Go for it, it's amazing.

Also, how single-player focused is NSMBU? The only video I've seen of it was showing some 4 player shenanigans. It looked great but it'll mostly be played in SP. If that's a handicap I'll definitely go with W101 or Pikmin instead.

I enjoyed playing it alone, but honestly unless you want a 2D Mario game and you have 3D world already I would choose Pikmin or W101.

It doesn't really matter. You can choose a total of two games and play them a month for free. After that said month you get the chance to buy those games 40% cheaper.

hmm, could collect from my local waitrose.. but then I'd lose my trade-in bonus at GAME. Wonder if that would be enough to persuade GAME to sell early?

I guess that depends how desperate / corrupt the management are. I'd say there is very little chance GAME will sell copies early - it's used to be a fireable offence back when I worked there and often the copies wouldn't even scan through the till.

I enjoy it solo but oh my lord it frustrates me in a way that is illogical and frightening.

Accordingly, the Wii U outsold the PS4 in Japan last week. Now I'm not saying it's thanks to Mario Kart, but well done Mario Kart!

just checked my cupboard and I have Zelda WW on disc, so I can trade that in and get the digital version, leaving Mario Kart as my only physical disc

Just called the games store that said they would have it by today and he totally reserved a copy for me even though I didn't preorder. (speaking of preorders - sorry Amazon *cancels*)

Indeed. All's well that ends well. Since the Lagann Blu-ray set was delayed, I've had some cash spare so I don't mind the extra that it costs lol. I just hope they're more punctual than Anime Limited :p

Going to watch X-Men in a few hours and maybe tomorrow I'll pop in my Mononoke Blu-ray. Should help with the time. Blu-ray collectors needn't worry about entertainment!

yes. Other than Game & Wario, Mario & Sonic winter olympics and Mario Party, I have everything else digitally. So rather than simply not use the offer, I figured a few pounds back by trading in Zelda (which I'd then get back free when registering MK8).
