Sega didn't want to pay for Bayo2 because Bayo1 was a failure. DR2 sold very well and the only thing we know MS did for DR3 was help get it running and optimized on Xbone and publish it.

MS Also funded Case Zero and Case West.

The Dead Rising love is strong at Microsoft. Wouldn't be too shocked if they buy the IP and Blue Castle from Capcom eventually.

I would LOVE a PC port of this. This is the one Xbox One launch exclusive that I was really sad to miss out on. Do it MS, please.

Capcom wouldn't sell Mega Man to the not quite creator of Mega Man.

That's not really selling it to themselves, but okay.

Mega Man is kinda a flagship IP. They aren't doing anything with it at the moment but I'm sure it means more as a piece of Capcom than Dead Rising does and for that reason they'd never let Mega Man go.

I could even see them letting Lost Planet go too, if MS wanted that.

They've done more with Dead Rising since it's inception than they have with Mega Man in that time, unless cancelling games counts as progress. They've also said Lost Planet is one of their key brands going forward, while no mention of Mega Man.

Is it more 'fast paced' than the past games? I didn't like that you start out slow and weak and only start wrecking shit in a new game+

aw yeah this is awesome. I bought Dead Rising 3 on Xbox One but only played an hour of it because the text was so small and I sit so far away from my TV.

People from Capcom and MS are probably monitoring this thread.

And i'm also

I hope they confirm this soon.

Of all the Xbox exclusives that I would want on PC, both Dead Rising 3 and Ryse are scraping the bottom of the list.

I do appreciate the sentiment though.

I wouldn't mind Ryse myself. Mindless action games aren't a bad way to kill the occasional lazy Sunday.

Now that listing is on SteamDB, and is being updated; an announcement is pretty much given during E3 time.

Well, the first exclusive title that almost got me to buy a One is coming to my favorite platform instead?

I'm doing a merry jig of happiness right now!

Are you sure about that?

Having put over forty hours into the game, I can safely say yes. I am very, very sure about that. There are instances where the frame-rate will drop, but they aren't the norm and it certainly doesn't 'run like ass' as suggested by the poster.

I guess that''s one of the benefits of having actually played it, you get to see that the issues pointed out by DF aren't the norm...

I finished the game yesterday, and the framerate drops literally everytime you're driving on streets filled with zombies.

And you've been here long enough to know that "runs like ass" is standard GAF hyperbole for "has regular frame drops" which, again, is true.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
Nice! The only (released) xbone exclusive that looked interesting to me! Would be fantastic if I could just play it on my PC.

I agree that this is a dumb move on MS's part.
But as someone who never plans on buying an Xbone, I too would reap the benefits.

I haven't beaten 2 yet :lol

The PC version of 2 had no controller support and mapping utilities are not an acceptable substitute in games with analog control. Sucked, but I didn't waste much money on it.

Not sure I agree that it drops every single time you're driving through the infested streets. There are instances where it does drop (over the bridge for example or near the cruise ship), but again, these aren't the norm.

Unless I'm just not as sensitive to frame-rate drops as yourself and the poster who suggested it ran like ass.

I would rather have forza tbh. There are very few racing games on pc that actually have a huge amount of vehicles. And those that do are NFS or tdu

Youre right, the game plays very well and the frame rate seems very stable by my experience. The only big problem of this game technically saying is the insane ammount of pop-ins... sometimes, even walking I could see strong visible pop-ins happening not so far from the view distance. It may be one of the worst games Ive played at the pop-in aspect.

BUT, the game plays pretty much smoothly, even with a screen full of zombies! The pop-ins kind spoils some of the experience, but sometimes its also surprising how this game handles the frame-rate. And, the general experience is just pure fun! This game is awesome anyway!

Now if they are going to announce some PC stuff at their E3 show like a few ports and official controller drivers, depending on size and importance of what they are bringing over I could actually see MS convincing Valve to put down their knifes for a day and coming on stage (if they are announcing anything at all this year).

Microsoft said that they're looking to do some amazing stuff with PC gaming... this looks like one of those things. I'd love to see the majority of Microsoft-published games coming to Steam.

Really excited for this!

Whaaat.

Dead Rising is one of the only games that seem even remotely worth having right now. I'd probably put Killer Instinct on that list too, because I think both would really shine at high resolutions and no crushed blacks.

He's referring to the Xbox as a whole, not the X1 in particular. Personally, I'd love to see PC ports of the Banjo HD remakes and Nuts & Bolts.

Yeah, the pop in could get pretty bad at times, especially when you're speeding through the streets and wreck suddenly pops in causing all kinds of trouble.

Oh god if we're talking about Xbox as a whole then I would be willing to sell my 360 and pay $200 for a PC port of Nuts and Bolts.
