Now thanks to DerZuhälter's guess with the name, my bet is that this game is a Sony game for Morpheus to be announced in E3, but I'm doubting between Scorn and Entwined as the name of the game.

I think this is "Kill Strain" and it's probably the cancelled Santa Monica game that was probably 3/4 finished, but needed modification. Whether it gets announced at E3 is anyone's guess. The lay-offs were probably more about saving money for Sony, but on second/third look it was more than salvageable with a little TLC. That's my guess anyway.

I read that sentence and I never implied that Giger was inspired by it (frankly, I don't know enough about him to make any sort of statements on his art). However, your argument that this term not being around during his time has anything to do with it is BS and that's all I wanted to say.

That's disappointing. Is Project Beast the only unannounced WWS game (assuming Studio Japan is collaborating with From Software) ready to be revealed? It seems like it. Maybe a re-reveal of The Last Guardian can be a big moment for Sony. Because it just seems like every other studio is being crossed off the list.

Since Sony trademarked the title at least it's a positive sign that something named "Kill Strain" will show up at E3 and this sure seems to fit the title better than anything that's even been rumored about.

Wasn't SSM's cancelled game supposed to be some sort of online open world shooter?
