I just want a Just Cause 3.
JC2 is not good enough for you?!

Or how about A Fifth of Saints Row (you can have that title for free Volition) where you do all of those things but cranked up to 11...

With excessive neon lighting everywhere!!!

Now that you mention that neon lightning, I'm close to taking A Filth of Saints Row instead
ya, typo was intentional this time around (><)

Humble Metal Gear Bundle

$1 for concept art
BTA for a fridge magnet
$25 for Ground Zeroes
$50 for Phantom Pain
a fridge magnet got me
(><)
thanks for laughs

I'm more excited for Dead Rising 3 than GTAV. I want to see what that game looks like maxed out @ 60 fps. GTAV looks great for a previous gen game but it isn't going to push my system hard enough for me to get hyped for it
unless it's another terrible PC port.

GTA V will look alot better then Dead Rising 3 on PC

I think we all are in agreement that PC needs 4 good games:
1. Godzilla with super realistic city devastating, monster hunting and roaring to our hearts contents.
2. Starship Troopers, where we strategically exterminate bugs or failed that mind control them.
3. Matrix, which is actually fun and gorgeous to look at.
4. and most importantly GitS, not watch dogs or remember me, but pure insanity with brain hacking left and right and where we have no idea what's real and what's not ever, even after ending credits roll.

That's not too much to ask for, I think.

edited: and we already almost have No Man's Sky so I won't as for that. I just hope it delivers as much as I imagine. Not that it's possible, but one can hope.

(1) Reminds me of Bulletstorm and the Waggleton P. Tallylicker section
(2) EDF! EDF! EDF! (Seriously, EDF is basically Starship Troopers: The Game.)

Do people really think MGSV PC is happening? Why do you do it to yourselves?

Dude stop, crows taste like ass when eaten raw. Don't be that member that SteamGAF will laugh about on Chatrooms =(

For that matter Halo collection will come to PC in 2015, can't have people ditching their XBone sales in favour of PC.

A year ago, Kojima said that a PC port wasn't on the cards but could appear later; consequently, I've long believed that Konami ported Revengeance to the PC to get a sense of how well a traditional Metal Gear Solid game would do -- it wanted to ascertain and hopefully build upon pre-existing brand awareness, in other words. As far as I'm aware Konami's yet to comment on the performance of the PC version, but it shot up Steam's Top Sellers list when the Winter Sale kicked off and Cheers Tony said that pre-orders quickly exceeded "[his] already high expectations", so it's undoubtedly done well.

But then I'm also the guy who firmly believes that RDR PC is going to happen and WB will get around to re-releasing Wheelman. ;)

in for the magnet.

It will probably be as something like $47 Humble fumble their tier staging all the time now.

If MGSV doesn't make it to PC I'll just have to buy a PS4 for that and Destiny. *shrug*

Destiny for me has gone from looking like a Firefly style romp to Borderlands without any soul (what little soul Borderlands had even). I think I'd have to be severely intoxicated to get any enjoyment out of it. Good job there's a wave of alpha and beta testers who will no doubt break NDA in the next couple of months to reveal all.

Has Skynet brought Modbot back online?

It'll be back online after Nintendo, I don't have the level of attention required to sysadmin a bot while moderating a forum and trying to enjoy E3 as a regular user. ModBot gets really persnickety when connectivity to GAF is lagged or outright not working.

At least with Bungie developing I know that the combat and weapons won't be utter shit like in Borderlands. You're right though, I need to see Story Missions.

Funny you should mention that; I just started watching the Firefly episodes on Netflix for the first time ever in my life on Sunday. Wish I had sooner. Parts of the presentation feel a little too antiquated / faux Western to be plausible, but overall, I'm loving the show and think it would have made a great inspiration for a video game. Something more focused on running a ship (sort of ala FTL) and not just the backwater / borderworlds outlaw atmosphere of Borderlands.

Something combining various aspects of X, Freelancer, FTL, Borderlands, FONV, Mass Effect etc.

Curses. I have a giveaway that's kinda cool, but nothing as epic as people like Dupy and Rhaknar do on a regular basis.

I anxiously await his return.

Enjoy your Nintendo presser, Stump. ;)

Bu-bu-bu... Opposing Force?

Wait a tic. Let me get this straight...

Bungie developed Halo, therefore Destiny will have good combat?

Yeah, I don't buy that for a second. Not unless not working on Halo for several years has changed some things. :p

No Man's Land footage makes me all giddy, but sadly I have my doubts about what the game will actually be like. Words "procedural" and "infinite universe" just don't sit right with me. I'm afraid it will be a relatively simplistic affair with good looks and little actual substance, especially considering that it's being made by four people.

I just noticed something incredible, still can't believe my eyes

How did you manage that? And how many hours a day has on your planet? (><)

4 people? I thought they were two, now when they team doubled in size I expect even greater things from them! (><)
ambition is good thing to have for game creators. If even this game probably won't be that great as we want, may be next one will be, who knows.

Temporal shifting and manipulation, mostly.
That and I only sleep a few hours a night, kinda like Davinci. ;)

can I borrow your time machine for couple of days?
pretty please

Max Payne 3 wasn't really a great port tbh. with 8x AA my 780 overclocked past 780 Ti levels @ 1080pgets 25-40 fps.
Poor MSAA performance on a deferred engine is expected, not the sign of a bad port. Be happy they bothered to include it since most deferred engines don't bother.

iirc, Evochron Mercenary was made by one person and I don't think it's generally considered a shallow game, particularly in terms of physics and level of interaction with planets.

For the simulation heads in here:

Yeah what struck me was that the Bungie guys haven't made it a secret they were big Firefly fans. They cast Fillion, Tudyk and Baldwin as minor Marine voices in 3 and had them returning for more fleshed out roles in ODST. I was hoping some of that space western feel might have made it across into Destiny (along with a good helping of Westworld as well) but it just seems so bland. Maybe it's because they've glossed over the story aspects, maybe it's because there's no iconic character or lead to front the game, maybe it's because Borderlands has some chilling memories of nausea for me but I'm just not feeling Destiny at all.

I think that just a little spark or touch of magic regards to how the narrative is presented or even show glimpses of the universe of Destiny could get me interested again but for now I'm not that fussed about it.

That's how I feel about Starbound

i'll gladly be that guy if it means we're getting MGSV, i just don't see it happening since there hasn't been a peep about it in forever

Calling it - next year RDR remastered, year after that is a sequel

Also after the Grim Fandango thing, anything is possible. And don't WB have a plan for some sort of digital content library of older stuff (I think gauntlet was the start of it?)

Also I'm firmly in the MGSV on PC is happening. It's the other games in the series that are the mystery. Not really sure why they bothered with MGS Rising otherwise :p

Well there never was a peep that Dead Rising 3 is coming to Steam then low and behold just the past week it got a freakin' Steam page.
It's all a matter of waiting and patience.
