I was just thinking about Rime and hope it will be every bit as good as it looks.

I expect one or two new games and hopefully The Last Guardian will get shown - a new trailer would be fantastic!

We may even get announcements of new remasters coming our way like Dark Souls 2 (hopes and prays for this!)

I think it's possible we could get a actual release date for No Man's Sky as well. 2015 is pretty packed with games, so it's going to be hard to find a sweet spot for it.

Lol no. They'll show like three new games. One will be a reason to get hyped.. Seriously, we all expected huge things at E3, and they disappointed the hell out of people. I expect a "At TGS I PROMISE!"

Most people seemed happy enough with it from what I've seen.

I know Brian Bendis shitted things up a bit (As he so often does with things he gets involved in), but there were a lot of really nice looking games shown at that conference. Bloodborne was easily the most interesting new title announcement to come out of E3 as a whole imo.

Yeah, I'm really hoping for some news finally on Gravity Rush 2. I am expecting at least a decent showing from Sony's EU devs that didn't make it in time for E3 this year.

Sony always makes really nice shows at Gamescom, they have the right mix of big titles, new games and hardware/services announcements.
Talking about first party games this year's big titles should be Bloodborne, new Media Molecule PS4 title, maybe Ratchet&Clank PS4, other possible big surprises might be from Team London and Bend.
I'd like to see updates about Rime, No Man's Sky, Everyone's Gone to The Rapture, The Witness and whatever Tarsier Studio is working on.
TGS instead should be about Hot Shot Golf PS4, Gravity Rush 2 and obviously like every year The Last Guadian LOL

Last year they had a great exhibit at TGS, it was huge and tons of fun, and surrounded by millions of people. All while not really having any new announcements at all.

Come to think of it, were there any new games announced from anyone at TGS 2013? I feel like it's just become a public demonstration venue with a primary focus on mobile. I'm actually going there this year for fun, but I don't get the sense that Sony would reveal the Last Guardian there considering its apparent demographic.

EDIT: Realized I spent my whole post talking about TGS. Anyway, I think a reveal like this would actually be more likely at Gamescom, which at least has a recent history for those sorts of things. Nonetheless excited, only a month away!

I mean, they only announced/unveiled the first Gran Turismo 6 footage, the VITA price-drop, the PS4 launch date, Murasaki Baby, BigFest, Everyone's Gone to the Rapture, Shadow of the Beast, RIME, HELLDIVERS, RESOGUN, Starbound, etc. etc. etc. last year at Gamescom.

As much as I would love for that, that's way too many new reveals (especially if these are 2015 games). I'd say it's going to be either MM or GG showing off a new IP (not both), SotB, maybe a remaster, maybe some gameplay footage of a game we've only seen a trailer for (I don't think it'll be Bloodborne, that'll probably come at TGS), some more indy love (which I really enjoy) and a couple of 3rd party games exclusive content/DLC announcements.
