I'm sure they will, but it's so subtle on these new screens that I had to squint to notice it was there at all. Seems to be present only near the edges of the screen and much less dramatic than we've seen in other UE4 stuff.

Just to head off any rants, that shock rifle is fan-contributed concept art and nearly everything in that video is a placeholder based on UE3 assets. Epic haven't fully decided on the art direction for everything in the game, much less created final versions of the weapons or HUD.

Keep in mind that many community members have made prototypes such as this with different movement values. Of course, the final decision is Epic's, it isn't exactly design by committee.

I also recommend you guys listen to the Beyond Unreal podcast, they talk extensively about the games development. I learned a lot about UT from the guys who do it.

Yeah, it's not as bad as the other stuff, but still noticed it Based on what they talked about the video I trust them though. Going overboard with CA is going to mess with visual clarity and I don't think they want to go for that.

If I didnt know what game is this from and only knew it is from an FPS I would say it must be from Unreal Tournament. This small single screen screams Unreal Tournament for me.

I was a cynical tart before on it being a community effort - it'll be fun to watch how the game develops after initial release. Wonder if their intent on involving the community is due to backlash on design choices with UT3?

They're making a new one. They said they don't want it to be exactly like UT99, unfortunately (I know... I think it should, too). They want it to be it's own, new, game. Not something from UT99 or 2003 or whatever.
