The main fault with Zero is that Justin, FChamp and ChrisG don't play him. The other one of the 4 gods that does play Zero already has an EVO win under his belt along with the only big Zero wins...

If all 3 of those gods played Zero then Zero would win every tournament and no one would be having this discussion.

When you break into that strata of top level marvel players...the level where it becomes more consistent than SF because of its higher skill cap, Zero isn't top tier.

Flux will never beat Insaynne because Insaynne has actual fighting game fundamentals and has the mentality on par with the greats like Justin, Tokido, etc which is why he is constantly improving.

Yes he does. Did you ever seen him talk about fighting games in general? He doesn't have over a decade of experience like the others but his approach is very similar to theirs. That is why he is great at every fighting game he picks up. You can say he's another Chris G. If Insaynne were around for the glorious EMP days he would be on par with the greats. There is a reason why he got the rising star award.

I think it's too early to compare him to Justin or Tokido right now. These guys have multiple EVOs under their belts and numerous 2nd place finishes at EVOs. They not only have the fundamentals and the mentality of a top player but also the results.

Did you not see the part where I said they have more experience? He is about as good as he can get for a player in the modern era who spends most of his time hanging out with Bifu's family and going to Nextl Level and Bum's when he can.

Your excuses are pathetic. They don't play Zero because they don't need to. If Zero was so good & such a problem like MORRIGAN, you'd see players coming up with counter teams or strategies but they don't. He's just another good character.

I have all the proof I need. I can just point to the results. You are the one that has to come up with scrubby excuses why the facts & results are wrong. You remind me of the people that claimed Strider/Doom/Commando was the best team on MVC2. All theory, no application.

Or about last year's EVO where Zero actually won the whole thing along with having the highest representation in top 8? Why would I need to bring up "theory" when Zero has already won a god damn EVO and majors?

Your inability to separate player skill and character strength continues to boggle me. You don't actually bring up legitimate points, you just insult other people and even players calling them "scrubby". No top player actually agrees with your statements and claims yet you will call them scrubby for not having your point of view on the matter.

At the end of the day I don't even care what you think about Zero or the game... my original question was asking about these "people in the know" which you dodged like you dodged our betting arrangement. Unsurprising behavior to say the least.

those of you who are VF-curious should watch NYG9 which starts in two weeks. three day virtua bonanza featuring team and singles tournies for vf5fs as well as singles tournies for VF2 and VF4 Final Tuned. I'm gonna be there and I'm doing a FT10 with vfdc's BG Akira who humiliated me at NYG8 and now I'm out for blood

should be a fun weekend with lots of great east coast players like shidosha and Cozby and maybe numbers and the new york crew. even got some euro presence!

There were no DLC characters in the BBCP arcades before the patch so it can't be. Not sure about P4 but I doubt it'd change the results much if at all.

Can anyone link me a cheap PC stick?

My brother and I share his PC for Steam and we've been using his Xbone TE2 stick but I just bought SFIVAE in anticipation for Ultra and I realized I can't change the button layout and two of the buttons are dead due to no drivers.

I've read to just buy a 360 stick and it'll work fine but I'm really just looking for cheapest.

Tried that. Still not working. I thought that was supposed to fix it because the driver fixes the triggers, which are the buttons that don't work on the TE2, but other than getting rid of some lag, the driver did nothing.

That's definitely the price I'm looking for but I feel I should buy a 360 stick just in case I ever want to go to a local meet.

Anyone ever own a Qanba Q1? It may be what I'm looking for.
